Y/N's POV
"Good day, Mr. Kim; this is your new student."
"Of course, come in!" he says, and I take a step in, looking up to see all eyes on me, digging my nails into my palms to keep calm.
The teacher walks over to his deck and takes a seat, leaving me standing in front of everyone.
Oh, please kill me.
"Introduce yourself," the teacher says, smiling.
"Um hi, my name is-"
"Louder, we can't hear you," a girl in the back interrupts, and the class bursts out laughing.
Very cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool.
The teacher gives them a death glare before returning his gaze to me.
"Continue"
"My name is Lee Y/N."
He nods as I say it louder.
"Great! Nice to meet you, Y/N; you can take a seat over there."
Is that it? Cool.
He points to a empty seat and the air leaves my lungs when my eyes land on my soon-to-be seatmate, his face impassive yet so beautiful, I couldn't help but stare as I walked over, going over all of his features that seemed to have no flaws, even when he caught my eyes knowing myself I would've usually avert them at the second but I just couldn't bring myself to look away.
CHEESY.
"You're not going to let this take that seat, right Jimin?"
The same annoying voice from earlier asks, emphasizing the last two words, making me stop in my tracks, I rip my eyes from the Greek god's, I look her way, and we lock eyes, she's smirking.
This? You're going to feel that grin up your ass-
"In what does it concern you?"
The Jimin guy says without even turning around to look at her, his voice drowning out the entire class.
What the hell?
"Y/N, go to page 34 and read, it's the subject we're actually learning, you didn't miss much so I'm sure you won't have any trouble catching up," the teacher says, breaking the silence, and I nod, opening my book.
The chattering has slowly returned, and that's when the guy in front of me turns around, forcing me to look up from my book.
"Hi!" he says, smiling.
"Hi..?"I say this while tucking some stray hair behind my ear.
"My name is Hoseok, but you can call me Hobi," he says, extending his hand.
"I'm-
"Y/N I know, you just introduced yourself "He laughs.
"A-Ah yes, sorry," I say, my cheeks warming up as I extend my hand to place it in his when-
"OH MY!" he practically yells, grabbing everyone's attention, his eyes fixed on my hand, concern written all over his face, and that's when I realized I was bleeding from digging my nails too deeply into my palms.
"Are you all right?" he asks, and I nod.
"Oh, no worries, it doesn't hurt"
"Well, you should get this treated, it looks pretty bad," he says, and I look up from my hands to him.
"Do you.. do you think you can come with me?" I ask.
"Of course!" he says, his smile reaching to his eyes.
He raises his hand, drawing the teacher's attention.
"Can I bring Y/N to the infirmary, Mr Kim? There's a matter that needs be taken care of "He asks, and the teacher nods and returns to his work.
We exited class together, and on the way, he told me he'd make me visit the school afterwards, which I appreciated; Hoseok was a very nice person, and I could tell even though I'd only met him 10 minutes ago, the aura he gave off made me feel at ease around him; I hope we'll become good friends.

After the nurse cleaned up my wounds and bandaged my hands, Hoseok and I skipped second period so he could show me around the school, such as my classes, etc.
"Do you mind if I eat with you, Y/N?"
It was now time for lunch.
"Of course not," I say, a small smile tugging at my lips, and he nudges my shoulder playfully as we walk through the cafeteria doors and most eyes fall on us. My anxiety rises like boiling water once more, and I shift a little closer to Hoseok while following him to where I assume we'll be eating.
"Is there something on my face, Hobi?" I ask, tugging on his hoodie sleeve to get his attention; he turns his head my way and chuckles, shaking his head.
"No, it's just what happened earlier," he says as he sits down, and I join him.
Huh??
"What do you mean?"
"Well, it was a premiere when you fell and Park helped you up," he says as he bites into his sandwich.
"Park? a premiere?" I was puzzled.
"Park Jimin, your seatmate and, yes, a premiere darling, this guy is weird, and he only talks to his best friend," he points to the other side of the room where the two boys are sitting. When I turn my head, I lock eyes with his and quickly look away, slapping Hoseok's pointing finger, which causes him to laugh.
"and he doesn't give a fuck about anyone, it may not mean much to you because you're new and don't know what's going on in here, but seeing him willingly help you up was a moment to write down in history, he even let you sit next to him in class! which he would normally have broken in two anyone who even considered doing so "He goes on.
So it was Jimin I ran into? the Greek god? You've got to be kidding me, I might dig my own grave at this point.
"He couldn't say no when the teacher told me to sit there."
"Believe me, he usually protests, until today."
My mouth forms a "O" shape in response to his statement.
"And who was that bitch back in class?"
When I realize the word I used, I slap my hands over my mouth, and Hoseok looks at me with round eyes.
"Woah, Y/N, what else is that shy mouth of yours hiding?"
"Oops?" I laugh, my cheeks flushing, and he laughs, throwing his head back.
"Aish anyways, don't even get me started on that bitch, her name's Amanda, she's always been head over heels in love with Jimin but since he doesn't give a fuck, you know what it leads to, so I just know that now since what happened earlier she'll probably be on your case because you were able to get in not even a day what she's been trying to get in forever."
"And what is that?"
"His attention"
