Riley!

Hugging her back, I looked at the two then missing assholes standing behind her, smiling like buffoons.

"Riley? What the hell are you doing here?" I asked, pulling back but still keeping her within arm's reach.

"Shopping." She replied sarcastically with a roll of her eyes.

"Her sass quotient has gone up, I swear." Noah grumbled.

"I am serious. What are you doing here? And why the hell did you not tell me you were coming?"

"Okay, the first one is obvious. I am here because the party is here. For your second question, I wanted to avoid exactly what's happening right now. The questions." She pointed out.

"You can't just show up at my party and not expect me to ask questions. You knew about this?" I asked, turning to Noah.

"Nope. I saw her earlier when we were talking. Thought I'd check before telling you." He informed.

"What about you?"

"He told me later. Apparently, she wanted to have the majority on her side before she met you." Mason said chuckling, knowing the majority doesn't matter.

"Look, don't be mad. It's my first night of college, I wanted to start it with a bang." Riley said, turning to me.

"You could have at least told me." I replied.

I would have kept an eye on her if I had known she was here. It was her first college party. She doesn't know what to expect, and that's not safe.

"I could have, but I didn't. Come on Ethan, don't be a party pooper now." I should have mastered some sort of resistance towards her puppy face by now, but unfortunately, I haven't.

"Okay, but stay within reach. Any of ours." I nodded towards Noah and Mason.

"Of course." Riley groaned.

"Hey. I am Grayson." Grayson introduced himself once the chaos settled.

"Hi, I am Riley. Nice to meet you." She smiled at him.

"You created quite a mess in your brother's head tonight." Grayson mused, chuckling.

"What can I say? I am amazing like that." She said flicking her hair.

Her sass quotient has really gone up.

"Did you come alone?" I asked.

"No. I came with my roommates. You have to meet them. They are so amazing. Come with me." Before I could reply, she clutched my hand in her and starting tugging me along with her.

"Sure." I replied sarcastically.

I turned around to see Mason and Noah follow me, leaving Grayson alone with a girl who just approached him and already had her lips attached to his neck.
