Flashback

'15' year old Skye's pov-

I was playing with my sister Eleanor when we hear yelling and screaming down in the town, we look at each other, stand up and run through the kingdoms gates, One of the elders tell us to run from the demon in the town, "Eleanor? Skye? Quickly we need to run" the prince said running up to us, he kissed my sister on the head and runs off with his parents.

"Skye... don't do what I think you're going to do" Eleanor says trying to pull me away, "I am Eleanor, I wanna be friends with him/her" I say snatching my arm back, "SKYE NO, actually you know what, I CAN'T DEAL WITH YOUR IDIOTIC ANTICS ANY MORE YOU NEARLY DIE EVERYTIME, YOU EITHER COME WITH ME AND THE PRINCE OR STAY HERE!" she yells at me, I have tears flowing down my checks as she runs away, I watch her run until I couldn't see her anymore, I walk into the town to where everyone was running away, "How rude of everyone to run away from you" I say walking into the kingdom centre, the demon turns around to look at me, "Oh poor thing, looks like the reason you came was because your wounded" I say slowly walking closer to the boy, I look around to see if anyone's around, "You're quite a high up demon by the looks of it too" I say inspecting his form, I place my hand on his wound and heal him, he winces slightly at me touching it, "T-thanks I guess but why didn't you run away too?" He asks moving my hand away from him, "No exact reason" I say still trying to figure out how high up he was, "Like what you see?" He says chuckling, "Eh, just tryna figure out something" I say poking him, "SKYE?!" I hear someone shout, "Oh shoot, quickly this way" I grab his hand and start to run off towards the forest, "So where we going?" He asks, "Somewhere no one will find us for now" I say. I stop in the middle of the forest and open up a portal to my happy place, "Whoa where the hell does that lead" He says stepping backwards, "My happy place" I say pushing him in.

After jumping in I quickly grab his hand again, "Oi what the hell are you doing?!" He says trying to pull away, "Will you be patient it needs to get used to more than one person in here jeez" I say, a few minutes pass and I let go of his hand, "Why are you helping me anyways I'm a demon" He says walking around, I change forms only quickly not to let it take over, "Ohhhhh makes sense why you were trying to figure how high up I was" He smiles at me, "Yep, also my names Skye, If you're wondering I'm the demon king's right hand mans daughter, fuck that was a mouthful" I say laying down on the grass, "I'm Meliodas" He says sitting next to me, I shoot back but and look at him, "The s-son of the demon king" I say stuttering, he laughs and nods, "Wait so you also have to participate in this stupid Holy war" I ask him, "Sadly I caused this war and now I want to end it" He says looking down, "How about we just don't do anything" I say laying back down, "But we'll be traitors" He says, "What about that goddess I see you with" I say smirking, "W-what do y-you mean I don't hang out with a g-goddess" He says stuttering all over the place, "What's her name? Ellie?" I say looking at him, "It's Elizabeth" He says looking at me, "Ha knew it!" I say pushing him, "Damn it!" He says pushing me back, we play fight for a bit till we have to go back to the underworld to hatch our plan and seem like we're gonna be part of the war, "Hey Skye be careful" Meliodas says to me as I walk into the throne room, "Your majesty" I say bowing down, "Skye?" I hear my father say, I nod as he says my name, a few minutes later the king dismisses me and I walk back out to Meliodas, he pulls me to the side, "So I have to be next to the king when the war is going on, so I'll distract him while you met with Elizabeth the I'll come meet you two in the fairy kings forest" I whisper to him, he nods and walks into the throne room.

End of flashback

I wake up in the middle of the night and sit up, "Shit what the fuck was that" I whisper to myself, "Skye?" I hear Hawk say from the end of the bed, I walk out the room and go downstairs, Hawk follows me, I look at the passed out drunk people on the floor, I smile at them and grab blankets to put on them, Hawk puts a blanket on Ban and he grabs him, "C'mere master" Ban mumbles in his sleep, I quietly giggle at Hawk trying his hardest to get away, I pull blankets over everyone else but notice that someone's missing, "Hey Hawk?" I ask looking over to him, "Yes" He squeaks, "Where's the captain?" I ask looking around a bit more, "I think he said he was going for a walk" Hawk says, "Thanks" I reply, I open the tavern door and shut it behind me, "Here you are" I say sitting on the stairs, "Hm? Oh hey Skye" He says still looking of to the distance, "What's up?" I ask the small boy next to me, He doesn't answer so I ask him again, Once again he doesn't answer so I hug him letting him know it's okay to tell me, I feel him start to cry on my shoulder, "I'm sorry" he says, "What why?" I say worried, "The reason I came out here was because you kept repeating something in your sleep" He says hugging me tighter, "You kept saying stuff from when the Holy war was going on, you sounded really scared" he says crying harder, I don't say anything I just hug him, "Look I had a flashback that's all, It wasn't about the holy war or anything, I had a flashback to when we met" I say pulling away from him and smiling at him.
