A moment later, he appeared back through the portal.
"By the way, I was joking about us missing you. Everyone hates your guts." He walked through the hell portal once again and dissolved into the purplish glow.
What. The. Fck. Did that asshole really just switch up that fast?
Tommy looked above him and saw the beehive that Ranboo was talking about. Small yellow and black bees flew happily and calmly around the hive. The slow, steady buzzing was calming. Why?
Tubbo. Tubbo loves bees.
He watched the bees fly in and out of the hive. They looked happy. Suddenly, Tommy was 12 years old again. Him and Tubbo were sitting in the grass watch bees collect pollen from various different flowers. They laughed and smiled at the tiny, beautiful creatures.
"I like bees. They make me so happy and I don't know why!"
"You like the bees?"
"I like da bees!"
They both giggled and Tubbo rolled over on the grass to face Tommy. A bee flew over and Tubbo put his finger out for the creature to land on. It gently rested on his hand. It was calm.
"It's gonna sting you!" Tommy screeched.
"No Tommy. It's a nice bee! Look!"
Tubbo lifted Tommys hand to match the height of his and gently connected their pointer fingers, allowing the bee to cross the bridge over to Tommy's finger. Tommy flinched and closed his eyes as the bee stepped onto his finger.
"Calm down, Tom. He won't hurt you. Just be gentle with him."
"I don't think I like bees, Tubbo"
Once again, Tubbo connected his pointer finger to Tommy's and the bee strode back onto his finger. He carefully brought the bee up to his face and it flew onto his flushed nose. Tubbo laughed while Tommy sat on the grass, shocked.
"See? Gentle. It's ok, Tom."
The bee glided off of the boys nose and landed on a dandelion residing beside the 2 boys. It gathered pollen, and then it flew back to the hive.
Tommy snapped back into the present. Once again, shivers went down his spine.
"Stupid fckn bees"
He grabbed a stuck off the ground and beat the hive with it. The once calm bees suddenly turned against him and stung him repeatedly on his exposed skin.
"OUCH! FCK OFF!"
Tommy got up and ran towards the beach. He was planning on jumping into the crystal sea.
Bees don't like water.
He remembered Tubbo telling him that when he accidentally knocked a hive down and angered the bees.
He ran as fast as he could, but his injured arm made it quite hard. The burning and tingling in the cut wouldn't cease. He jumped into the cold water and the pain was soothed for a split second, but the salt initiated it again. It felt like fire on his arm.
