When Junkyu woke up his house was odd quiet, he sat up in an empty bed and yawned. Mashiho was gone but he saw a note on the pillow.

I actually had quite the early flight

"If only he knew what he did to my heart," Junkyu sighed, he stood up and put the note on the corkboard by his desk.

It had a bunch of other memories of him and his friends, mostly Mashi. He walked down stairs feeling his lonely break about to begin.

He looked around and his mom was no where in sight, "mom?"

Walking into the kitchen he saw a note on the fridge.

My son,
I left food in the fridge for you. Dont get too skinny while I'm gone. I had a call in business meeting, I might be gone all week.

Junkyu smiled and peeked the stick note off of the Polaroid picture of him holding Mashiho, "god I miss them both already."

It's been a while since he had the house to himself, even then Mashiho would be over everyday. Now Mashiho was visiting family in Japan, Junkyu was truly alone.

Junkyu walked back to his room and put the photo up with the rest of them. He heard the wind rustle the branches and he looked out the window confused.

The skies were gray and it dark clouds were beginning to roll in, "why today?"

Junkyu went back down stair and put on slippers and a jacket. He want to grab the mail and go down the convenience store to buy items before he ends up being locked up in his house.

A couple snacks and drinks, some normal everyday items like batteries.

"Hi Junghwan," Junkyu greeted the younger boy behind the counter.

Junghwan smiled and took the things out of the boys basket to ring him up, "hi Junkyu, how are you today?"

"I'm good, I have the house to myself this week," Junkyu smiled, even though he was a but sad cause of the fact.

"Where is your other half," the young boy asked with made Junkyu scratch the back of his neck sheepishly.

"He's uh, visiting family in Japan. So I'm actually alone," Junkyu said.

"Hmm, your total is ₩20,645," Junghwan said. "Good luck with that."

Junkyu paid, he said farewell before he went back home. Taking off his slippers he turned on the TV and put what he bought away.

"Winds seem to be picking up and a storm is heading our way, we are still looking at what could be the cause of this irregular weather."

It was now 4 PM and Junkyu was playing on his switch on the couch, the faint sound of the TV playing behind to make him feel less lonely.

"Now we are view Haleys Comet, it seem like another comet is deteriorating. As Haleys Comet on appears every few years, another seems the be falling apart pieces of said mass are falling into earth. Who knows where they will land? If an reposts please contact us."

The phone starts to ring which made Junkyu sigh. He put his switch down moving the chips to the table. He walked over to the kitchen and picked up the phone.

"Hello?"

"Junkyu, my son. Are you okay? I heard about the storm," his mom said.

"Its not bad right now but, it seems that it will last all week. Dont worry I'll stay inside," Junkyu said.

"Dont forget to do the chores."

"Chores... what chores?"

"You need to wash your clothes, clean your room, vaccum, dust, wash the dishes after yourself and dont forget to put them away," his mom rambled about the list she had about the chores.

"Okay chores, thank you mom. I got it love you bye."

"Jun! Junkyu-"

Junkyu hung up the phone and look at how dark it was. The winds seemed to be picking up speed, with a frown he made his way back to the couch.

Spread out he picked up where he left off on his game and putting his chip bag back at his side.

The lights started to flicker and TV lost signal.

"Be careful out there."

That's the last thing he heard before his house when dark and his cell phone started to ring.
