Flying over the sea, avoiding U.S airspace completely, they made it to Vancouver Island. It was gorgeous, seas of pine that meet the crashing coast. Will woke up to the bright sunlight dancing on the waves. He felt calm, despite knowing that Hannibal had bribed a private landing strip that sends tourists on scenic flights; they were going to land in the mid day when there was a usual influx of planes headed out. Hannibal was in the restroom when he woke and he felt cold, with a headache and a bit of nausea from the long flight.

"Good morning, Will." Hannibal said, as he walked in from the front of the jet. His hair was unkempt and his eyes were soft and sleepy.

"G'morning," Will grumbled, "Did you feed Winston?"

"Yes, and I changed the pad on his cage as well."

"Thank you. Are we almost there?"

"We should be landing in just a few minutes."

"Sounds good." Will stretched, his back cracking as he pushed the blanket off his legs. "Hannibal... I'm so hungry."

"I've arranged for our cottage to be fully stocked when we arrive. I'll make us a brunch and-,"

"That sounds great, but that's not quite what I meant." It was early, and these thoughts- these urges usually came to him at night. When he and Hannibal were ripping each other apart, or when he saw the older man's eyes darken like black tar when someone spoke to Will the wrong way. Never first thing when he woke, with no nightmares and a rare blissful sleep. He should find this worrying, but it had been far too long that he and his lover could hunt.

Hannibal looked a bit confused, "Then what exactly are you hungry for?"

Will stood up, walking toward his lover, grabbing his belt and pulling him close. "Scotland was the last time you made me a real dinner, Hannibal. And we didn't even get to finish him off, had to toss out so much of the meat."

Hannibal growled, recalling that night always made blood pool low in his stomach. He lowered his voice to a whisper, "I know...soon we will kill again. I think of nothing more than you soaked in the black blood of our moonlit nights. There's plenty of tourists and vagrants on the island, I don't think we'll have issue. We just must be incredibly careful."

"I know but I'm realizing that the seed you planted in me is more of a parasite than anything else."

Hannibal laughed, "I did not give you the bug, Mylimasis. I just showed you how feed it."

Will pulled him even closer, and Hannibal smashed their lips together. He never could get enough of this, Will's hands slipping up around his neck and his teeth grazing over his lip.

A car was ready for them, they'd take it to a small barge, where they headed to Salt Spring Island. It was a wooded island right off Vancouver Island, sadly not as refined as Hannibal had wished. But they could travel to the city, get what they need. Hannibal was thinking tomorrow night, it would be a bit hectic to get settled and go out to eat, per-say, but Will had made it clear earlier that this was something they both needed. And Hannibal could never deny William anything.

It was sunny, but still cold. Will was shocked at the frigid breeze, realizing he'd grown quite accustomed to the heat of the islands. Hannibal saw his shivering and offered Will his jacket. He blushed a bit before sliding it on. Smiling at the way the sleeves covered his hands. Winston was just thrilled to be out of his cage, bouncing around in the parking lot as they climbed into the car. Despite Will and Hannibal being together for a good amount of time now, Will still is flustered over the affection the killer gives him. Like he is unworthy of such special treatment, surely Hannibal had other lovers like him in the past right?
