Chapter 23

Billies pov

Me and Finn are in the city looking for supplies. Claudia is staying home because she doesn't feel the best. Shit I don't either my mind has been all over the place I've been numb. Why would she do that? No, I don't care about it. She's her own person. She didn't care about me.

I hear finneas sigh. "Bil." I hum in question.

"Im sure she didn't mean for this to happen, I could tell she really liked you she saved us so man-" I threw the rock I had in my hand at the ground. "She doesn't give a shit Finneas! She used us for her own needs, she never cared she was selfish. I don't care what she did." I explain while I walk into an old gas station.

"Billie I didn't mean for it to make you mad. You know this isn't how mom and dad raised you they raised us to be forgiving." He tried calming me down.

"Well their dead Finneas I doesn't fucking matter!" I walk away from him and look around the gas station.

We walk around the place for 10 minutes looking for anything. In silence. I feel bad because, he's the only one I have. The only one that cares. Claudia has tried talking to me but, I can't trust her as much as I want to I can't.

"Look I found Takis bil." Finn said lowly.

"Thanks." I said taking the bag and putting it in my backpack.

When we were walking out I could hear voice so I pulled Finneas back.

"No, our kids were very talented." Mom?

I run out the door and look to the right from where the voices came from.

"Mom!" I yell and run to her and hug her.

I hear Finn run out the store and hug me and mom and my dad also joins in.

"Thank you so much for this." I hear my mom tell someone.

I turn to tell them thank you for bringing my parents back to us. When I turn around I see the one person I didn't want to see.

"Billie?" Y/n says while looking like she saw a ghost.

I run to her and hug her. I can't be mad at her.

"Don't leave me again." I say while holding on to her.

"I'll always be here for you princess." She says while holding me tight.

"How do you guys know each other?" I hear my dad ask in a defensive tone.

"Me and Billie met when this all started." She said letting go of me and looking down.

"She's the girl?" My mom asked y/n.

"Yeah." Y/n says lowly.

*Time skip*

We got back to the cabin but, not much was said between me and y/n. She looks all beat up. No, she betrayed us.

"Billie." I hear y/n sigh "Can we talk?" She says while grabbing my hand which I pull away.

"Mhm" is all I say.

She leads us to the fire that Claudia started.

"You know I didn't want to do that to you right?" She said while sitting down next to me.

"I don't know what to believe anymore. You left me when I needed you most y/n." I said putting my head in my hands.

"I only left you because, I didn't want you getting hurt again." She said while lifting my chin so I'd look into her eyes.

"I really care about you B." She explained while holding my hand.

"Do you really care though?" I said while looking into her eyes just realizing how close we were. I could feel her breath on my lips.

"I always have and always will." She said while closing the space between us. Just a peck.

"You are really the only person I want. The only person I need." She smiled. "You mean the world to me. I was in that place for... I don't even know how long the only thing that kept me alive was you. Your smile, laugh, everything about you." She said while looking down.
