Chapter 7

Lena's POV

Everyone moves out of the way as Yang takes off her jacket while quickly wrapping her hands while Emma is doing the same thing.

"Carol pay attention these are the two best gauntlet users in heaven hell and earth most likely." She nods as I walk over to stand next to Kara who wraps her arm around my waist and plants a kiss on my forehead.  

I see that Emma and Yang are finally ready so I say "Begin"

They charge and start throwing punches that are easily blocked on both sides. Yang has definitely improved she has a lot more control. She uses some strength when it wasn't expected and breaks through Emma's defenses sending her backwards several feet. 

"Not bad kid you are getting better kid." Emma has always had a soft spot for Yang. They treat each other like siblings honestly. Emma smirks "I might not be able to hold back as much.

They keep fighting. 

Emma gets bored pretty quickly though and ends the match with a fake into a spin move that just leads the attacker to get flipped on their ass.

Yang smacks the ground in frustration but sits up with a smile and says "Darn I thought I had you that time."

"Nope but nice try," Emma says as she pulls Yang in to give her a noogie. 

They keep talking and bickering and everyone gets back to practicing.

I feel the two arms tighten around me as I see Ruby, Weiss, and Blake talking to Octavia and Lexa. 

"I was almost jealous of Ruby for a minute but she is your daughter so I can't exactly be jealous of that," Kara says while placing another kiss on my forehead. 

I laugh and nod in agreement as I say "Yah, don't worry I only got eyes for you" as I turn in her arms and place a light kiss on her lips. 

"How many kids have you adopted over the years?" 

I shrug and say "A lot. Legally not as many but during bad times I would buy a house and hire people or demons to take care of the kids while I was in hell" 

"Is that part of the reason you were on the surface so much?" 

I shrug and say "Partially. That and I wanted to annoy you." 

Kara laughs loudly and says "Well look at us now. We went from enemies to friends to lovers. One might think the person telling our story is a romantic nerd." 

I punch her arm lightly and say "Don't bring that wrath on us, please. Our author is petty if you tease them they might kill a character as payback." 

Kara rolls her eyes and says "They like all of those nerds way too much to kill anyone."

 It hasn't been that long but I love these awesome nerds as well.

"I do also they are pretty damn great."

"Hey love birds cut it out and come helps us train we have to get better as soon as possible," Sara calls out while throwing a boxing glove at our heads. 

Kara catches it and says "For that, you are going to do 100 pushups."

Sara groans and we laugh and both go back to helping the others.

After we spent the whole afternoon talking and goofing around most of the girls had a decent handle on their weapons enough to be trusted with them in shifted form.

"Okay, so your weapons all need a shifted form like mine and all the other lords of hell have. Cisco can make that happen for you when we get back to the house. His magic links the weapon to your body and mind so it can shift at a thought but that takes time and practice till then you will need a code word that will turn it into its weapons form." I say while everyone is grabbing their stuff.
