In which Armin... tries to help.
I promise you won't regret reading this one until the end. Trigger warning for mental health themes.

"I've been telling you since forever, [Y/N]. You should seek help."He'd been by her side for as long as he could remember. The both of them were childhood friends, as close as siblings. He could hardly recall any marking moment in his life that he hadn't spent with her. He'd do anything for [Y/N].
It had always been the two of them, since the other kids never seemed to like them very much. They were always the outcasts, for a reason he had never quite figured out. All of it was quite odd, but he'd never dwelled on the question too often.
He knew that his best friend wasn't doing well; she'd never been doing really well, or at least not that he could remember. From what he understood, her parents were long dead, just like his were. She lived with her grandma, but since the woman was cold and reserved, he was the only company she pretty much ever had.
[Y/N] liked to spend her time sketching him. It never bothered him, in fact he was quite proud to be the subject of so many of her pieces. She had sketch books full of the both of them doing different things, and he guessed it was because she never had any different model.
That was what was worrying Armin: if not for him, she'd be constantly alone. If anything ever happened to him, she wanted her to have other people. Since she'd always been kind of frightened by them, he'd suggested more than once for her to seek professional help.
"I know you think I need it, Armin. It's just... you know? Embarrassing."
"There's nothing to be embarrassed about, [Y/N]!" he exclaimed. "Everyone has issues! Therapists are there to help people find solutions."
"I know that, it's just... I don't know. I'm scared of being judged. I'm already judged plenty, people glare at us all the time."
"Just try it, please? For the both of us. I'll even come with you the first few times. Okay?"
She looked at him, nothing but affection in her eyes. If anything, she knew she could rely on him for as long as she needed to.
"Okay."

Armin thought Ms. Zoe was a great therapist.
He was sitting on the couch next to [Y/N], at her first session. In one hand, she was holding his; in the other was one of her sketchbooks.
"Tell me, [Y/N], what's your friend's name?" asked the woman.
"His name is Armin."
He waved his hand at her with a smile, but she didn't even look in his direction. He wasn't offended though; he guessed she was just focused on her actual patient. Good.
"And you've said you draw the both of you together a lot, yes? In that sketchbook?"
"I have plenty of them, but this one is my favorite," the girl replied, enthusiastic.
"I see. May I look at your drawings?"
[Y/N] nodded. She handed the therapist her book, locking eyes with him while doing so.
The woman skipped through the pages, analytical. Armin thought she looked impressed at how realistic they were.
"You are very talented, [Y/N]. Now, all three of us should have a chat."
~~~
"Have you tried to talk to some of your classmates liked we discussed?" asked Ms. Zoe, as kind as ever.
