innocent mistake

maths part 1

Our day was uneventful most of the time was spend doing household work till lunch. After lunch kids went to there room I guess to read something or rest.
Me and Carter was in study working on some office projects as we both are software engineers yeh ik who does same college as elder brother but Carter always wanted to be my shadow so yeah . I took job in mnc nd he stayed here freelancing. Still it's good now we both get our work requirements nd priorities.
Around 4 I closed my laptop expecting kids to enter anytime. I asked Carter same like it's time he was like so what we be doing I told him he has my free end today like teach any chapter in maths nd make them pratice questions take test as well in end we have all time till 7, yeah won't be cooking today I guess pizza or something will do
Carter- yehhh
Sam - remember not to be lieniet on them scold her good nd even punish if test results are messed up like you know the drill right?
Carter- she, I thought I will teach sherry
Sam- why
Carter- you know she kinds of gets this vibes around like so innocent puppy eyes nd I am able to be strict with her
Ik ik that's wrong but hitting her or anything is hard for me and she zones out when we teach her specially maths so I guess probably we will need to do something about it

Sam - hmm okay, but at some point you need to be bad guy can't be her loving brother always but for now you can have Sherry okay

Carter - thankyou, he is very enthusiastic about maths

Sam- yeah will change Minni zoning out today don't worry

Kids enter around 4.15

S&m - both of them are here please be a good start

Carter - (I stand up closing my laptop nd picking it up, I guess study room belongs to boss for use now haha just kidding)
(That's when I see munni switching side with sherry nd comes behind me like she will follow aahna wont work today kid) I look at Sam

Sam clears his throat
First of all what time it is ?
S&m- sir 4.19
Sam was supposed to report at 4?
S&M- sorry sir
You will stand for first 25 mins of study hour understand?
S&M -(comeon it's just 15min) yes sir sorry

Sam- minni go bring your math book nd work sheats rough note everything
Sherry go with Carter nd remeber no sitting privalage till Carter allows right
Sherry - yes sir (sympathetic looks to minni)

Minni- (I'm scared would be an under statement, I use to do well in maths till he was here after that I was so disinterested in this subject like now I am barely passing nd fml he is starting with anything but maths also with this super strict beginning I'm dead I guess thinking all this I just grab books mindlessly nd go back to the room placing books on desk he is working nd sit trying to tell myself it's okay some day anyhow I have to face him it's okay it's okay)

Sam- (I was doing some last minute work before pack up nd I see her placing books nd siting there, like really Rebel already)
I close my laptop nd look at her it took her few mins to focus her attention towards me acting like everything is normal
That's too much definitely she will regret this I will make sure about it

Minni- (huh he called me here so why this one raised eyebrow nd sharp tone is trying to intemidate me, I'm confused) sir?

Sam- (she literally got audacity to do that I doubt but right now I'm beyond pissed)
