I saw that Y/N was feeling uncomfortable while he was talking,so I went to them. "What's happening here?" I asked and Y/N smiled when she saw me. "Can you leave? I was having a conversation with this cutie." He said while checking her out. "Well,this cutie is my girlfriend so go away." I said and wrapped my arm around her shoulders. "Oh sorry..." he said and immediately left. I looked over Y/N and saw her looking at me while blushing. "I hope you don't mind that I said that...I said it just so he can leave you alone..." I said awkward and took my arm away from her. "Don't worry,and thanks for protecting me." She said and in that moment Tico came to us. I already forgot about him! "Sorry Tico for letting you alone." I kneeled down and cuddled his head. "Can I play with him?" Y/N asked and I nodded. She kneeled down and Tico went to her. "Who's the good boy? Yes,you are!" She said while cuddling him and he licked her cheek. "He likes you." I said while looking at them and smiling. We sat down on the grass and Tico layed between us. "Why do we barely meet somewhere else except here?" I asked and she didn't look that happy. "Y/N? Is something that bothers you?" I asked and placed my hand on hers. "I just have to take care of my little brother...That's why..." "And where are your parents?" I asked and a tear escaped from her eye. Tico went near her face and licked the tear. She smiled and hugged him. "They died 2 months ago." She said. "I'm so sorry..." I said and hugged her. "It's okay,you couldn't know about it." She said and Tico barked. "Is your brother alone now?" "No,our neighbour stays with him when I have to go out." She said and I sighed. We spent some time playing with Tico and then she had to leave. "Y/N,can I have your number? I just wanna be sure that you both are okay." I said and she nodded. She wrote her number on my phone and gave it to me. "Marcus,thanks for everything." She said and hugged me. I hugged her back and it felt so good. We broke the hug and she left. "Come on Tico." I said and we started walking back home./first she said that her family just moved here and now what? Is she hiding something from Marcus?
