Teething

Jazmine and Huey did not get any sleep at all last night. Their Child Aaliyah kept screaming and crying all night and they had to keep getting her,

"Your turn to pick her up," Jazmine told Huey.

Huey groaned but still agreed and got up and picked his spoiled little girl up.

She was currently 5 months, she couldn't walk but she could sit up on her own and she's been babbling a lot. Sometimes they would let her sleep in the middle of the bed with them.

Jazmine didn't even know she was pregnant right away until she noticed a lot of the symptoms and she was throwing up a lot.

"Are you doing okay?" Huey asked Jazmine.

"I think I'm pregnant." She said.

Hueys jaw dropped. "You are?"

"Yeah!" Jazmine squealed even though it was a surprise she was kind of happy because she always wanted a kid although this was unplanned.

Jazmine gave Huey a hug and hugged back but he was confused on how happy she was.

"Your gonna help me raise it right?" Jazmine asked sad.

"Of course I am. I'm just confused. This was out of nowhere.. I never agreed to a baby."

"Well you did now." Jazmine smiled

Jazmine didn't have to worry about Money or a house because She already had a house and was living right across the street from her parents and Hueys. She got it from her dad on her Will, Jazmine also had a savings account.

Nobody was really disappointed in Jazmine and Huey. Even thought it was unplanned, they both had good jobs and they had money to raise their child and Jazmine actually was happy.

Huey paced around the room trying to calm the baby down but she kept crying and putting her fingers in her mouth.

Jazmine noticed and turned her lamp on.

"Hand her to me," Jazmine said.

The baby had a big Afro like her dads, and her hair color was close to Jazmines but brownish.

She had a almost lightskin color, but she had Jazmines eyes, and Hueys face. They were so much alike.

Jazmine took the baby and lifted up her shirt, the baby smelt breast milk and latched onto her mother, Jazmine snickered.

Huey sat down he was so happy that she was quiet again he needed rest.

"She's teething," Jazmine said.

"How do you know?" Huey asked.

"She's cranky, rubbing her gums, chewing on her fingers. What else could be wrong with her?" Jazmine said.

"Your right, my baby is in pain. I'll get her those teething pacifiers and oragel tomorrow."  Huey said.

Being a father was hard work but Huey enjoyed it.

The next Morning Jazmine was up making breakfast, the baby was in her high chair eating rice krispys and she drank cold breast milk to soothe her teeth from her bottle.

Huey placed the first things down on the table, he got up early to get everything over with.

"Good morning cranky," Huey said kissing her daughters forehead making her giggle.
"Good morning beautiful." Huey said kissing his soon to be wife (she just doesn't know it yet) On the forehead.

"You got the stuff?" Jazmine asked.

Huey nodded and showed her the pacifier.

"How do you use that thing?" She asked crossing her arms.

Huey demonstrated.
He got some frozen kiwis from the refrigerator and mushed it down then he put it in the pacifier and gave it to his baby.

"It helps sooth her gums without her choking on anything, you can put ice there too.

Jazmine was impressed.

"And how do you know this?" Jazmine asked teasing.

"Saw it on Instagram on some mommy page." Huey said proudly.

"Your such a good father Huey," Jazmine giggled .

"And you are a good mother." Huey said kissing her.

Aaliyah started crying once she saw them kissing.

"What's wrong? You want some of daddy's kisses too?" Huey laughed as he kissed his child, she started giggling and didn't stop.

Jazmine watched the two, and she smiled herself, watching them bond made her smile, she had never seen Huey smile or laugh until he saw his baby for the first time.

Huey stopped making the baby laugh as soon as she started spitting up on him.

"Oops daddy's fault, my mad baby." He said to her.

He gave the baby to Jazmine, as he went upstairs to change his shirt.

Jazmine changed the babies onesie and bib.
Then she placed a blanket on the floor on the living room and placed Aaliyahs toys on it , her bottle and Cheetos. Then she placed her iPad on the floor with a case that makes it stand up, she put cocomelon on and then put the baby down.

Jazmine sat down on the couch and watched her play, she was clapping her hands and babbling trying to sing along to the songs.

Huey came back downstairs and sat down on the couch Also watching the baby play.

"We did a good job." Huey said.

Jazmine nodded.

Huey saw the baby still chewing on her fingers and rubbing her gums against it.

"Let me go fix that pacifier before she starts screaming again," he said.

"Good idea." Jazmine said.
