Chp.9

Recap-

We were far away from the beach. I was on Matts shoulder and Matt was swimming towards the surface.

The ocean was an amazing view. I looked around the ocean and saw something.

It made my heart pound rapidly.

A gray fin.

Present-

Arabella's POV-

I couldn't move. I couldn't even say anything.

Matt noticed me that I wasn't talking nor moving.

Matt turned around and he had a scared look on his face.

People on the beach were watching and recording in their phones. Seriously people?

The crew had a scared look on their faces.

"Swim!" I told Matt.

Matt swam fast to the surface and the shark was behind our trail.

Me and Matt safely went onto shore.

People were surrounding us.

"Are you okay?!" The crew asked us looking worried.

"Yeah.." Matthew and I said out of breath.

The paramedics were bomber ing us with questions.

"Are you okay?!"

"Are you injured?"

"Is anything broken?!"

I was getting tired of the paramedics.

"Yes I'm okay! Now shut your damn mouths!" I snapped. The paramedics backed away.

Some guy walked over to me.

"Well a shark was trying to bite you guys. But hopefully it didn't." He told me. I was guessing he was an expert at marine life. No shiat a shark wasn't trying to bite us.

"Your very lucky that you guys are alive. The shark was a hammerhead shark. You could've had died instantly but luckily your boyfriend made it out in time. The shark was sent to Sea World where people could watch them." The guy told us.

I'm scarred for life. Gee thanks shark i never want to go to the ocean again.

God now what do I do.

Oh shoot I just remembered something!

"Mahogany hand me my phone!" I said in a rushed tone.

She tossed me my phone and it landed safely on my phone.

I saw a text message from Tammy.

Tammy- WHERE TF ARE YOU?!? IVE BEEN WAITING IN THE PARK FOR AT LEAST OVER 30 MINUTES?!?

Arabella- Geez calm down woman. I kind of forgot because somebody just asked me out!

Tammy- Who? Tell me!

Arabella- You might not know him but his name is Matthew Espinosa.

Tammy- Oh! That's wonderful 😄

Arabella- It really is. 😍 btw when I was at the beach I almost drowned but Matt saved me. But guess what? There was a hammerhead shark behind us so Matt quickly swam to the beach.

Tammy- Awh thats so cute! Not that its cute that you almost got gobbled up by that shark but that Matt saved you!

Arabella- Yeah hes really nice and such when you get to know him. Hey I got to go. Could we reschedule this later on?

Tammy- Ok! Bye 😜!

And with that I tossed my phone back into my purse.

"Hey guys lets go get ice cream!" Shawn said.

"Ok." We all said.

I wore my pink cardigan and tossed my purse around me.

It was almost sunset but we decided that we would stay here until the sunset.

Matt wrapped his arms around me as I cuddled into his shoulder.

We all walked to the ice cream parlor. We sat in a red booth.

A man walked over to us.

"Hello I am your waiter today. What can I get you today?" He said.

"I would like to get one scoop of Mint." Mahogany said.

"Rocky Road." Carter said.

"Chocolate." Cameron said.

"Vanilla." Nash said.

"Vanilla." Shawn also said.

"Cookies n' Cream." Both Jack said. Well damn.

"Bubblegum." I said.

"Peanut Butter." Taylor said.

"And would like to have Bubblegum." Matt said.

The waiter wrote our stuff down on his notepad.

After he was done, he walked away.

Later, the same waiter gave us all of our ice cream.

"Oh my gosh this tastes like heaven!" Mahogany said.

"Yassss!" We all said.

We were all enjoying our ice cream and chatting with eachother. I love the feeling of this.

Matt wrapped his arms around me. Everyone 'awwed' and took pictures of us.

"So how was your day today, Arabella?" Matt asked me.

"It was wonderful because I get to spend time with the crew and you. But the only bad thing was the shark part." I said and poked his nose.

"Yeah I hated the part too." Matt said and smiled.

The whole crew coughed.

"Who's Arabella?"

Oh shoot they still don't know.

Me and Matt looked at eachother.

"Well better get ready because this is a long story."
