ᴛʜɪɴɢs ᴛʜᴀᴛ ʜᴀᴘᴘᴇɴᴇᴅ ᴛᴏ ᴇᴍᴍᴀ ɪɴ 2019
1. 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗢𝗙 𝗦𝗨𝗟𝗟𝗜
Emma knew sulli because Amber had introduced sulli to her. The two had become so close to eachother that sulli felt like emma's own sister. Emma was in Australlia when she heard that sulli passed away. She was completely devastated. This was the sixth loved one she had lost. Emma was happy that she was with her family during this time and not alone as she would've probably had depression if she was alone !!
2. 𝗪𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗬 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧
The whole kpop industry knows that Emma and Wendy are close. Emma was about to sue SBS. It's their responsibility to make sure that the artists don't have any problems. This triggered Emma soo much. Emma went to visit Wendy after a few weeks and was devastated to find Wendy in such condition !!
3. 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗦
Emma received a lot of awards in 2019. Being invited to the grammies to announce the winner, to winning bbmas and winning the artist of the year at mama. It was truly emma's year. Emma won a lot of awards, from mma, mama, sma, and many other more awards. She expected some fandoms to blame her because their favs wouldn't get the award but she was surprised by how all the fandoms said that she deserved the award !!
4. 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗙𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗬 𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗦
This was the most shocking to Emma in her entire life. She went home back to Australia for Easter. That was when her mother told that she was pregnant. Emma couldn't surpress it. She was soo happy that she was finally getting a younger sibling. But what shocked her even more was that her mother was having twins. This was the second set of twins in the family after Emma and Alice. The whole family was very happy. The 38 year old couple and their kids were very happy about the new family members !!
5. 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧 𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡
Emma was signed with two labels since debut. She was a Bighit trainee and was supposedly to debut only with bighit Entertainment. But as she was a ex trainee under the JYPE, Park Jin-young thought, as bighit was still a small company, it may not be safe for Emma to debut. If something happened to bighit financially, Emma wouldn't have to waste her career. So he proposed that she would sign under JYPE as well as a 5 year contract. JYPE would only manage promoting her in social media platforms and the rest would be managed by Bighit Entertainment. But when JYPE was split into divisions, Emma was put in division 2 together with Got7 and Itzy. That's when Emma's social media promotions got worse. As it kept becoming worse, Emma decided to not renew her contract. The reasons said were, one, her contract was almost over and because of mistreatment, she would not renew her contract. Two, she was signed because Bighit was a small and unsuccessful company back then, but now with the help of Emma and BTS, Bighit is a very successful company !!
6. 𝗗𝗘𝗕𝗨𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗢𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗥𝗢𝗪 𝗕𝗬 𝗧𝗢𝗚𝗘𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥
When yeonjun had told Emma that he was going to debut, she was the happiest person on the entire planet. Ever since she met him, she had rooted for him with her entire heart. And when she found out they'd be debuting finally, she was over the moon. She was very happy and very proud of her boyfriend as it was finally time to show the world his potential. She was even happy when she found out that they'd be debuting a day after her birthday !!
