"Auntie, what got you so upset?" Kevin asked Hailey as she walked back into the house empty-handed.
Hailey's mind was still on the weird girl at the store. Why target her out of all the people in the store? What did she do to that girl? The shit was unreal.
"Auntie?"
"Yeah? I mean nothing, Kevin. I could find nothing I like in the store for Amelia. I'm just going to look online."
Kevin nodded, walking away, making Hailey sigh and happy that he didn't ask any more questions. She was still trying to figure out the shit herself and didn't need him and his worrying. It was better if Kevin didn't know anything about what happened.
"Steve, could you tell me if Isabella has been out with my grandchild lately?"
"No, ma'am. I am sorry to inform you have nothing on her or your granddaughter at the moment."
Steve was my private investigator that was worth the fucking money. A friend of Hailey's, who was her late brother-in-law's wife Sierra, introduce her. Sierra was always trusted worthy, but those children of hers weren't.
They were Kerr's by their last names and last names only. Neither of them acted like their blood. Logan refused to acknowledge them as his family, although he did work with his uncle and father until his little ass disappeared along with the Senator.
Monica and Tracy were both odd. So, Hailey never tried to get close to the two. Sierra was different. Hailey felt that she could trust that woman with her life. Plus, they told each other everything.
Hailey: Si, where are you? I really need a friend right now.
Sierra: Sorry, I can't right now. I'm in the middle of something. Maybe tomorrow. I have something I need to tell you always.
Hailey sighed, looking down at the text. She knew that Sierra was a busy woman. Plus, she just got back in town from a business trip that she never told her about. Maybe that is what she was about to tell her.
Hailey: Cool until then?
Sierra: Until then.

Tracy walked into the room, watching as her mother texted someone. As Sierra saw her shadow, she quickly slid her phone back into her pocket, slowly turning to her daughter with a smile. Something about that peaked Tracy's curiosity.
"Who you texting?"
"A friend," Sierra said, smiling at her daughter as she stared like she was trying to read her or something. She hated when her children treated her like a child.
"What type of friend?"
"Trac, last I check, I was fucking grown and didn't need my children questioning what I do."
"Mama, I not questioning what you were doing. I'm just asking what type of friend. I mean, you've been alone for a few years now. You didn't have to get out defenced and shit."
Sierra sighed nodded her head as Tracy shook hers, walking from the room slamming the door behind her. The girl had a bad problem, one that Sierra care nothing for.
After leaving her mother's room, Tracy when straight to the Lang's mansion. She and Isabella had become good friends, and something about her mother's actions didn't sit well with her. Tracy knew in the past she was close to the Kerr's but did know how that was today.
"Hey, Mr. Lang. Are Don and Donna here?" She asked, seeing Jeremiah standing in the kitchen with Amelia, Kimari, and his other grandchildren.
"Hello to you too, Tracy. They all in the living room," He said, smiling as she turned to walk away. That man was a sex god, and she hated the fact he was married. His smile did things to your body so did his sons, but Tracy wasn't that person to fool with other people's men's but looking never hurt.
"Oh, look, the other weird beauty, " Ian said when Tracy walked into the room, making everyone look at her. She could feel her face heat up as the girl's laughed all but, Tara. She didn't like the way Ian addressed her, Monica, or Jane.
"Ian, leave my little sister alone. Come sit beside me, Trac," Logan said, smiling as he moved closer to her, Jane. Making Gabe pull her over to him. First, the man hated the girl. Now he was that protected big brother and didn't trust Logan close to Jane.
"I think Mama is up to something," Tracy blurted out, making Logan and Monica stare at her as Jeremias sat up. Tracy felt like a fool turning on her mother, and all this could very well be her imagination.
"Why do you think that, Trac?" Monica asked. She wasn't mad as Tracy thought her to be. Monica was the baby and the closer to their parents, so Tracy thought she would be ready to fight because she was throwing around accusations.
"I walked into her room a little bit ago, and she was texting someone, and when I asked her about it, she became all fucking defenced. I found something about a private investigator and the fact that she used to be close with the Kerr's when Daddy was living."
"Wait, what?" Jeremias said. Tracy could hear it in his voice that he was pissed that neither of them ever mention this before. All three of them looked at each other then back at Mias and Bella.
"Don, I didn't mention that because she hasn't talked to them since the day our Dad died..."
"So, your mom knows this Hailey bitch?" He asked, cutting off Logan as he stood. Logan looked over to Tracy, then Monica, as Tracy slowly nodded.
"AND NEITHER ONE OF YOU ASSHOLES THOUGHT IT WOULD BE WISE TO TELL ME OR MY WIFE THAT A WOMAN THAT WE. ( He said he pointed between himself and Isabella) WAS SHELTERING IN OUR HOME KNEW THE FUCKING BITCH WE WERE AFTER? SHIT AIDEN YOU AND IAN BRING THAT FUCKING TWO FACED BITCH TO ME NOW!"
"Wait, are you about to kill our Mom?" Monica asked, making Jeremias's head whip to hers.
"Be happy I'm not about to fucking kill all four of you. You all knew your fucking mother knew Hailey and never of you said a thing. Who is she to you?"
"O-o-our aunt,' Monica said, crying. Isabella was so upset she got up, leaving the room only to come back with a dagger.
"ABOUT TO KILL THESE BITCHES!" Bella yelled, running toward them until Mias caught her by the waist, telling her no kissing her face to calm her down.
"No, Baby, think if this was your mother. What would you have done?... Brand them. As of today, all three of you are our property," Jeremias said. Tracy and Logan nodded slowly as Monica cried.
