I walk away smiling. WAIT SMILING! Oh boy you like him. Shut up voice. I go to my cousin Korra she is really special after all she is the avatar. We go to the arena that I was invited to. I see Mako and feel a blush creeping out. "Oh hey y/n who is your friend?" He asks. "This is Korra"....I pause then continue.."she is the avatar." I see the looks in there face they are obviously impressed: I feel a pang of jealousy but I quickly get over it. "Ya but I'm no princess like y/n" Korra says as if reading my thoughts. I smile. " your...your a princess?" Bolin asks. "Actually it's a funny story I am the princess of the fire nation and the princess of the northern water tribe." I say. At first there confused then they smile. They play their match. Korra is screaming and shouting the whole time. I am not to into sports but I watch anyway. I'm incredibly confused, but just cheer. I could swear Mako kept looking at me to see if I stayed. They won yay! I was smiling at Mako and he was smiling at me when someone punched me in the stomach. "Ow what the heck Korra." I scream. " your staring and smiling at him like an idiot and he is doing the same thing. You guys are totally meant to be. I'm am going to get you two together if it's the last thing I do." Korra says. I secretly know it's true. I'm walking out of the locker room when I run into "someone" oof I think to myself. I look up and my eyes meet a gorgeous pair of amber eyes. "Sorry Mako" I say without realizing my hands are around his neck and his around my waist. Talk about awkward. I pull away quickly. "See you tomorrow." I say. I hear Korra and Bolin laughing their heads of behind me. "Good escape attempt n/n. But we're going to the gym to train." Ugh I think.

At the gym

Ok I admit I see why Mako likes her so much. I liked her but Mako already called dibs. I'm helping the avatar. Mako can't stay 5 seconds without looking at y/n. We're sparring I make it a point to make Mako spar her. Their fighting and Mako is terrible. I can tell he is dead scared of hurting her. The girl on the other hand.... man she's got skills. She dodged all of Mako's shots and she super quick. Mako looks away for a split second and she freezes him. She makes sure to leave a whole for him to breath. "I WIN! I WIN! I WIN! I beat you! Hahaha I beat a pro bender." y/n starts screaming. She lets him out of the ice. "I was going easy on you." Mako says. She looks at him with pain filled eyes then runs. Wait what I think. She dashes out before Mako can grab her. "Y/N!" Korra says. But too late she is gone. That was weird I think. I look at Mako, he looks hurt, scared and confused. "Oof lover boy. Just to let you know she hates when people go easy on her because she's a princess. You know not all princess are meek damsels right!" Korra says. "I...I didn't mean it like that I was worried I would hurt her." Mako says. "Don't worry I know that I'm gonna talk to her. Also you should just ask her out you know." Korra replies. Mako looks so embarrassed. It is a very rare opportunity to tease Mako so I decide to take it. Korra joins in. After I had my fun Mako walks away in rage.
