Kaneki and Rio are currently playing Rhymes which suits as their training by practicing their vocabulary skills.
"Okay round 5 start!"
"Fear" Kaneki started
"Cheer" Rio answered, "Apostrophe"
"Geography" Kaneki answered, "Antenna"
"Gehenna" Rio responded, "Lion"
"Zion" Kaneki then looked back at Rio, "Your expecting me to say 'ion' isnt it?"
"Heh, worth the shot.." Rio smirked, "I thought about confusing you with the spelling to get you wrong with the sound.."

The game they agreed on is like this- As you can guess it's a rhyming game. Never matter how it's spelled as long as it's sound rhymes to it. The example they gave out already gave a clue how their game works. Ion is sounded with (an) so Kaneki fought it with Zion which sounds (en) at the end and with Lion which also sounded (en) at the end. Oh, and did I forgot to mention that they are both answering all this in English? These guys are good.
"Don't underestimate me Rio, I am a college student who chose classical Literature as his course and playing with English is just a child's play to me.."
"Yeah well, wouldn't it be great to beat you on it? I mean I always want to have head to head with a college student. It would look great on my resume don't you think?"
"We'll see about that.." Kaneki threatened, accepting Rio's challenge, "Lyric"
"Starting hard ey? Don't look down on me that easily!" Rio shouted, "Hemispheric!"
We all stood as their game is heating up steam. They both stare for a couple of minutes then Rio raised up her voice.
"Plausibility!"
"Feasibility..-- Publish.."
"Demolish!-- Audible!"
"Edible..--Stature.."
"Butcher!-- Louche!"
"Swoosh..--Argot.."
"Largo!--Envisage!"
"Their taking a whole difficult words from the dictionary!" Kaede shouted in amazement
