"You will be marrying Kim Minju of the Violet Kingdom," Your mother's voice echoes into your head.

"What?! Mom please not her," you said with anger in your voice.

"Listen Y/n this is for our good," Your mom said as she went closer to you. "What do you mean?" Y/n asked.

"If you marry her Y/n our Kingdom will become one," mom said as she comforted you knowing you didn't want to marry her.

"Mother I'm willing to do this only if we can have peace," you told your mother as you looked at her.

"Please Y/n if you do this our family will become the most powerful family in the land," your mother said as she hugged you.

"Okay, I'll do it." Y/n went and got ready.

You and Minju knew each other when you will were little kids, she would always try to get close to you while you ignored her feeling she was annoying to you.

Since both kingdoms are now becoming an empire together you and her are meet again as adults.

1 week before the wedding

You woke up from your nice sleep feeling all energetic heading into the bathroom to freshen up brushing your teeth, taking a shower, skincare, etc.

As you got done with your morning routine you heard a knock on the door.

"Y/n I need to talk with you after you're done," your deep voice father said. "Okay," you said finishing up.

You came down to the kitchen where your father and mother are talking with each other. "Yes? Father, what is it?" You said as you sat down.

"Now, I know your mother told you the news so I'll cut to the chase basically you have to go on dates with her get to know her again," your father said as he sipped his coffee.

"I already set everything up so go and get ready you'll be meeting her today," father said as he took another sip.

"Okay," Y/n said heading back upstairs to change.

Once you were done you asked your dad where everything is set up. Apparently, you both are meeting at a park and going to an expensive restaurant after.

You reached the park sitting down at the closest bench waiting for her. You looked around admiring how beautiful the park is filled with cherry blossom trees with pretty orchids with a water fountain in the middle with other people walking around and some even throwing coins for a wish.

Suddenly, someone sat by you and hugged your arm smiling at you. Looking to your left you see a pink hair girl smiling at you and pecking your cheek many times.

"Hey! Stop! Get off me!" You yelled for her to get of you. She had a pouty face after you pushed away. "Gosh after so long your still so mean to me," Minju said as she puffed up her cheeks looking at you. You had to admit she had gotten pretty the last time you saw her.

"Look Minju I only agreed to this for my parents so don't think I'm going to fall for you," Y/n said as he got up from the bench. "I'll make you fall for me," Minju said as she kissed your cheek and ran from you. You sighed knowing that you gonna have to deal with this for the rest of your life.

Minju and you walked side by side through the cherry blossom trees majority of the time it was always Minju talking about how her life is and how she's happy that they're both getting married.
