so what i was thinking that the m/c is a vampire, obviously. you have a random werewolf or tyler bite her on a full moon. if you choose tyler, then you have the m/c help tyler get chained up so that was why she was out there with a werewolf. but if you choose a random, then she was outside (on a full moon) with caroline, damon or stefan— or elena even— and they got surprised attacked. this all happened while klaus was in town, obviously.
when klaus gets told that she was bit, he didn't want to help her but one of her friends (it can be whoever you pick) makes a deal with him. so when he goes to her, he notices how utterly beautiful she is and kind of gets mesmerized by her beauty. as the two made small talk, he felt as if he had to get to know all over her.
at the beginning of their relationship/friendship, she absolutely loathed him because of what he did to her friends. but as klaus opened himself up to the m/c, she couldn't help but grow some sort of feelings for him.
in between, you can put whatever you want. you can start the book however you want and end it however you want.
