Hey lani i miss you so damn much i can't believe we're going to different schools now. Who am i gonna talk to now that my best friend isnt here? I know you're probably sleeping, you lazy hoe so you won't see this but  i won't be able to talk soon I just wanted to say I love you and I'll talk to u soon. It's cold here in New York ~Anna.

Without Lani here I know it's gonna be hard but I'm a big girl now so I need to be responsible for myself and get out there. I put on some basic jeans, a shirt, and my jacket. Time for me to head out, I guess. My dorm is close to the school so I made it here in about five minutes flat. I need to go to the office to get my schedule for the school year, I hope it's not far.

7:15 to 8:15 Human Anatomy, my first class of the day, Mr. Athens. I walk to class in a hurry because I don't want to be late on my first day. When I walked into class I realized I was the only one there along with a tall man with his black hair in a ponytail, was he a student? He seemed slightly familiar, but I don't recall seeing him in the hallway. I take some time to admire his beauty, then snapping out of my trance when a deep voice says hello to me. He approaches me with a warm smile on his face. "Hi, I'm Izaya Athens, the Human Anatomy professor." Oh, he was a professor. "Hi, nice to meet you I'm Analise."
-
Analise, it's a beautiful name. I admire her soft, yet sharp features for a couple of moments. I reach out my hand to shake hers, and she grips my hand firmly. It was a familiar touch but I can't remember where from. After shaking hands, with nothing to do, I offer her a seat as we wait for the other students to enter. Analise, I wonder.
-
People slowly start flooding into the classroom, and now it's less awkward. He starts his lesson, but his low, deep voice in a way is soothing and I slowly drift to sleep. "Analise." I jump out of my sleep to see him standing over me, with a worried look on his face. "Sorry, sir, yes?" I say in my sleepy voice. "It's fine now, don't worry, but I'm going to need you to stay after class". Everyone oohed as if we were in high school, but I let the darkness slowly envelop me once again.
-
The bell rings and all of my students quickly leave the classroom, a few girls stay behind to ask me for my number and social media, I do as I always do and politely reject them, I hear their awws as they leave. I look up and find the girl sleeping soundly, she seems peaceful, but she needs to get to her next class. "Analise." It simply just rolls off my tongue, "Analise." I say a bit louder, causing her to jolt in her seat, she analyzes her surroundings and noticed we are alone, her face of confusion made me chuckle. "Sorry, sir, I'll get going," she says as she hurriedly packs her bag. "Analise, are you okay?" I say out of concern, due to how much she sleeps. "Yes sir, I am, I just couldn't stop falling asleep today for some reason." She goes down the stairs and towards my desk. "Would you like a copy of the notes?" I ask before she leaves. "Yes sir, I would," she says and gives me a contagious smile. "Here you go, " I hand her the notes, and her hand brushes against mines, she looks up at me and I look at her, staring into one another's eyes for a couple of seconds, "I really like your eyes, " her words were sudden and unexpected, it looked like the words just sputtered out of her mouth, causing the embarrassed expression to spread across her face. The bell rings, and she runs out, without looking back, How amusing.
