"Wh-who are you...?!" I asked. But what I really should have asked was, "how do you know my name?"
"I have many names. I go by Macey. Go by Ryan. I go by... hmm lets see... MouseTrap. I go by Maxie or as you would probably know, Gabriella. But of course... you're new so you probably wouldn't know all those code names. Only Lee, Vanny and Jeremy know and of course all my victims..." they said. I had only heard of MouseTrap when there were multiple children we had to go after but I never got to work with them... but now a new query appears in my thoughts; Why were they here?
"I do apologize, I'm rambling again, aren't I? Well I guess I should get on with getting rid of you since no body surely takes pride in what they do... Like I do." They said.
"G-get rid of me...?" I repeated.
"Why, of course! I'm going to eliminate each and every one of you until its just me and Jeremy. Anyways I'm getting ahead of myself. What I came to tell you after I woke you up about 3 hours ago, I'm surprised you lived that long, was that Jeremy will soon be able to get out thanks to your death."
I was quite confused. Why was someone on my team trying to get rid of me? What would they gain from my death?? My absence would only make the their job harder... unless...
"Are you the one who got 5 of them in one shot-?" then I felt it. The throbbing pain in my neck.
"What a clever little princess. Its too bad you can't stay." then I blacked out after a sharp pain dragged across my neck, starting from the left to the right.
It was hard to breathe. I couldn't see.
