I turned around and looked at the thing that had grabbed my shoulder.
It was Montgomery Gator.
"What do you think you're doing?" he said almost calm, in his deep voice.
"Uh... how did you find me?" I said in a cutesy voice, trying to hide the fact that it was his best friend.
"I'm not an idiot Gabriella, you know this. What are you doing?" He asked again, more stern this time.
"...T-trying to help her!" I said moving his hand off my shoulder.
"..." He didn't speak.
"SHES LYING! SHES TRYING TO KILL ME!!" Vanessa spoke up. I glared at her, baring my sharp K9's.
"I would keep your mouth shut before anything worse happens." I spoke through my teeth.
"EY KNOCK IT OFF!" Montgomery yelled in his rich southern accent, making me flinch. "I will NOT tolerate threats, especially to a security guard."
"SHES NOT A GUARD, SHES TRYING TO KILL GREGORY!" I tried to defend myself.
"Then why haven't you told Freddy?"
He had me cornered with his words. I couldn't think of anything to say.
"I knew something was going on with you." He said, sadly.
Vanessa almost giggled. I watched Monty's eyes turn purple as he turned to me.
"Remember that story I told you about when you came to work here as my mechanic? The one where I ripped my last mechanic into tiny pieces." Montgomery asked me, explaining which and pretty much the only story.
"...yes..."
"Do you think I'm going to throw you down the same path they did?" He asked.
"N-no..." I said.
He leaned down to my ear and whispered. "Wrong answer."
