𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐈 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝗺𝐞𝐭 𝐲𝗼𝐮 [] 𝐥𝐧 𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝗼𝐧

chapter 3

'Hey whatsup y'all! Well, I hope, since I don't know how this dam- uh, this camera works', she started while giggling. She looked at it deeply, before she continued: 'So as you can see, I'm trying... Something new? I'll try to make vlogs wherever I go basically! So this will be my first vlog! We're, well, I am heading to the airport in a bit, but apparently a certain brit will come and pick me u-' before there was a knock at the door. A smile instantly formed on her face, while she walked towards is.

She already told Lando her plan for vlogging, hell, he even bought a camera together with her. So when the front door opened, he instantly smiled at the camera. She turned it around again: 'Well, I see you guys in a bit!', before she turned it off, and turned around to give a hug to the boy who already stood there with his arms open.

His cologne instantly filling her nose when her head landed on his chest, and she sighed contently. 'Lando Norris, are you nervous?' she stated while laughing. He looked down at the slightly shorter girl, his cheeks getting a rosy colour: 'What me? Noooo why would you say that, you muppet' while he waved her away.

She gasped: 'You sooooo are! Shut up!' while she gave him a light push. 'Okay okay! It's the first time to see how the car really reacts on track  alright. Testing always makes me nervous' he stated while looking down shyly. She kind of felt bad for him in a way. He told her about his first season already, which made her also feel off, but when he saw her smile drop, he also felt bad.

'Rhe, please don't think about my first season. I'm way better, if not entirely better now, so no need to worry!' he said, while ushering her outside. She let it go for now, and tried to put her rather small suitcase in the car. He frowned at her, even he had a bigger one. 'Why do you have such a small suitcase?' he asked her. She looked over her shoulder, and shrugged her shoulders. 'Sorry, am I not diva enough for you?' she said with a smile on her face. He turned red again, which made her laugh, getting attention from the people walking around them.

'Oh- I- I'm sorry but you-you're face is go-GOLDEN' she tried to say in between tears of laughter. She patted him on the shoulder while she continued: 'You have a lot to learn about me, and this is the first lesson. That my dad is a partner of yours, doesn't mean that his daughter instantly is a diva in the making. I mean, I'm having a internship at McLaren right?' she tried to say more seriously. He nodded slowly, while trying to avoid eye contact with those piercing blue eyes.

When they were finally on the road, Rhea tried to connect her phone with the bluetooth, but not before Lando heard the next song on the radio. Without thinking he turned the volume up to a way to high level, and screamed the lyrics:

'IT'S FRIDAY THEN IT'S SATURDAY SUNDAY WHAT!!!!'

He turned towards her, while screaming again, Rhea joining this time
'IT'S FRIDAY THEEEN IT'S SATURDAY SUNDAY WHAT!!!!'

Rhea ended with a: 'Yea, I think it's good', which instantly made Lando laugh in delight.

After that, it finally connected her phone, and she shuffled a random playlist she put together. Rhea and Lando mostly had the same music taste, but once in a while, she saw the disgusted faces he made in the corner of her eye.

At some point, she put the volume up: 'YOU DON'T HAVE MUSIC TASTE LANDO! THIS SONG IS AMAAAZING!' she said, while she loudly screamed the lyrics

'LoveGame intuition, play the cards with spades to start
And after he's been hooked, I'll play the one that's on his heart'

At one point, she saw a soft smile starting to spread across his face, which he really tried to hide, but eventually he just laughed at her. 'You're crazy, like, batshit crazy' he said while laughing at her.
