It was sunny and very bright, very bright that it glistened through Keith's nearly closed curtains. Keith woke up and rubbed his eyes and got out of his covers and combed his fingers through his hair, Keith walks in to the bathroom to brush his teeth and while doing so he got a text.... It was Pico.
Pico: Yo its sunny wanna head to the beach for today?
Keith: yes I would love to!
Pico: right meet you in 7 mins
He turned off his phone and then scrubbed the last of his teeth, he spat out and rinsed his mouth with a cup he filled and spat again into the sink again, Keith walked in to his bedroom again to grab some trunks and a tank top with some flip-flops and then grabbed his iconic red and blue brimmed (woaah yanky with no brim) hat and put it on backwards like always, 'Today is gonna be crazy.' Keith said in his head. (That rhymed :OO)
-Time skip-
Pico waited for Keith, tapping his foot on the ground while listening to some tunes when suddenly a tap on the shoulder made him jolt a little, Pico turned and saw Keith smiling, man.. that smile always made Pico blush, he pulled out his phone to unplug the earbuds and turn off the music.
"Hello!"
"Wassup." He waved at Keith, "So should we start going now?"
"Yeah, let's go." He held Keith's hand walking around the beach, a few looks were given but never seemed to bother but Keith did, he wasn't a fan of people looking at him but tried to ignore it.
"Hey should we get somethin' to eat like you look you haven't eaten anything at all!" Pico turned to look at Keith,
"Yeah i was in a bit of a hurry." He rubbed the back of his head nervously smiling. "Alright what do you want, do you want ice- cream?" Keith's face lit up, "Yes!"
"Wow you like ice cream don't ya." Pico chuckled, "What nearly everyone loves ice-cream!" He crossed his arms, "Yeah I know do I look li-" Pico got cut off to some children randomly telling him his hair looked like carrots before running off, Pico twitched an eye.
Pico was pissed, irritated by some kids who made fun of his hair.
"Hey mister your hair.." One of the kids snorted, "looks like carrots!" They bursted out laughing before running off, "This is the fucking reason why I hate kids.."
"Hey it's okay, they are just kids they learn their mistakes in a few years time.." Keith patted his back.
"Let's just go get ice-cream,"
