First and foremost, WELCOME!
This is my first fanfiction. An angsty slow burn. Set in the Narutoverse and centred primarily around Nina Sarutobi (original character) & Kakashi Hatake. In saying this, plenty of the other Naruto characters make an appearance throughout the story.
Getting down to it, this is a fanfiction story. While the story takes place in the Narutoverse, I have taken several creative liberties with the original storyline.
THINGS WORTH MENTIONING:
** This is a revamp & edit of the original Holding Hands in the Rain. Because...I learnt stuff. I would hope so after writing over 300,000 words in just over a year, lol (but who's counting). For those who have read the original, there will be notable differences in both quality and content.
** This is a trilogy. This is book one of a planned three-part story. ^See below FOR THE PLAN^
** I have included my original character: Nina Sarutobi. AND my soul sister's (uchihahanakoo) original character (with her permission, of course): Hanako Uchiha
** I have disregarded the 'Pain' and 'War' arcs. As a result, several characters are alive and well in this story, which goes against canon. (Remember when I said this is a fanfiction? Yeah--nudge, nudge.) **
** I have marked this as mature for good reasons. This story contains swearing and mature themes that may not be appropriate for some ages. Themes include (but are not limited to): swearing, death and fluff right through to heavy lemony goodness.
** I (yeah, ME) cannot tell you how much LOVE & APPRECIATE readers who actively engage with me & my story. Any time spent on hitting the VOTE button and writing COMMENT(S) gives me the boost I sometimes need in the wee hours of the morning (cause y'know kids & life mean that's when I get to write).
** Readers (yeah, YOU) when you see three centred asterisks-doohickies like these: "~~~" they denote a change of character POV.
THE PLAN:
Between the Raindrops is currently published--for now. It will be unpublished and revamped after HHitR. From there, the Third (and final instalment) will be worked on & published.
And as a bit of self-reward, I have found a talented soul who can print and bind my writing and Lesya's incredible artwork.
Just in case there were those of you about to raise your hand and ask: of course, I am aware that due to copyright, this is not something I can make money on or from. It is purely for personal use/satisfaction.
