I walk out of the room and follow Kae as she heads to the grand stair. I look out to the sea of people below me. I was totally not in my world anymore. I breathe in an out as I mutter out, "Okay, let's do this."

Everyone looked up to [Y/N], her [h/c] curled tresses fell into place so perfectly as she walked dow the grand stairs slowly, her [f/c] dress mimicked her movements as if it was like a stream of water flowing into a river. As she strides down the stairs confidently she had caught the gazes of not one but everyone in attendance.  She walks down she curtsies and all the people clapped for her, all except one, the man that she had met before; he was in awe at her beauty and to think he had spoken to such a beauty, an infatuation bloomed.

He walks towards the girl, running his fingers through his white hair as he pushed through the people that gawked and stared at her. Once he gets to her, he smiles at her and bows, holding out his hand to her asking her, "May I have your first dance, m'lady."

Her plump pinkish red lips curl into a delicate smile as she takes his hand and simply says, "Yes, you may."

As they walked on the cold, smooth surface of the marble floors, the floor shined in the light of the particularly large crystal chandelier. The room started to fill up with the sounds of slow paced music. Their gazes meet as they start to waltz on the dance floor, the man gently held her waist and her arms went around his neck. His nut brown eyes and [Y/N]'s [E/C] eyes couldn't look away from each other, it was like their eyes were magnetised to each other.

"So, are you not going to tell me your name, sir," [Y/N] asked the man, trying to make small talk with him.

The white haired man blushes in embarrassment, looking away for a second, "Did I not tell you my name? I'm sorry. My name is Sir Daniel, Lady [Y/N]."

"Sir Daniel," she asks, she thinks for a moment before saying, "Daniel, like the name of the man in the lions cage in the bible?"

"Sure," Daniel chuckles, finding [Y/N]'s sudden response humorous, "Are you religious, my lady?"

"Not really, I have finished my sacraments but I don't follow the bible teachings strictly."

"I see, you look beautiful by the way. Not that you weren't when we first met but- um," he shyly states as he looks down to her, her eyes blazed in excitement and wonder, "Would you want to get married?"

She giggles at his question, "What are you asking, Sir Daniel?"

"If you had the choice of getting married, I mean," he clarifies, "Would you and what would be your reasons too?"

"If I had the choice, I would do it for love. Not because someone wants me to, I mean, I am going to live my life with this person. Might as well be with someone I love, right," she asks the man for reassurance. He nods in agreement, "Why are you asking, Sir Daniel?"

"Because, I was hoping to be that person. If you'd take me, that is," he asks [Y/N] seriously.

She wanted to say yes. Never in her life did she think a love like this would come to her, that she could even find love. Maybe it was the pessimist inside her but her heart longed for him. [Y/N] tries to answer him but for some reason she couldn't, the words never came out.

Then she woke up.

She looked around in a cold sweat, it was the modern world. The white haired gentleman wasn't to be found. She was in her sad college dorm that she shared with no one and he was gone.

She sighs in discontent as she realises that, "It was only a dream. Such a cruel dream."

[Y/N] gets out of bed and looks at the clock. 12:07 am on Tuesday, Ninth of March.

"It was a dream? But it felt so real," she thought to herself as she walks to her empty kitchen, grabbing the frozen Costco pizza that she had bought three days ago out of the fridge and shoves it into the microwave. As she waits for her cold pizza to heat up she walks back to the fridge and get out a can of Pipeline Punch monster energy.

[Y/N] lived alone in an apartment building near her the university she got into. She was the type to not even bother putting up decorations for the holiday season. Well, other than her bedroom the apartment looked... empty. The living room consisted of a dark greyish-blue couch and a forty inch flat screen t.v. The dining room was much more depressing, an Artemis pine table that can fit six people, with matching chairs. [Y/N] admittedly doesn't have a lot of real life friends. She hasn't spoken to people her age since coming to college.

"Well, even my dreams try to make a point that I'm lonely... Fuck it," she yells to herself as she opens the can of monster energy up, chugging it. She feels a buzz from her back pocket and pulls out her phone and sees a notification on her phone from an unknown number, "Who could that be?"

She walks to her gaming desk and slouches into her chair as she opens up the text message.

[Y/N] groans as she slams her head against her gamer keyboard, staring at the text on her screen. A million questions stirred in her mind after looking at the text. The main one being, "How. How did he find me?"
