Chapter Two: Why am I fish?

I look up at everyone being happy and, well, on land. I sometimes honestly do wish I had picked something else, but, I am fish. Choosing fish I got blue designs on my arms and streaks in my hair, I also notices my eyes rippled like water. Wilbur helps me so much per usual, and I am so grateful for him. It was so nice to see that he needed to be in water in the sun. "Wilbur?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you have any food?"

"No, uh sorry. Do you want me to get you a saLmon?"

"Um, yeah , they actually have been pretty mean to me"

"You know what they call me?"

"What?"

"The saLmon basher"

"Thats, horrible"

"I know, I know" I see Tommy run off, he must be saving Jack Manifold from the Nether. "Nikki! Here!"

"Thank you, did you see Tommy run over there?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Aren't you worried?"

"Nah, he can handle himself"

"I gonna tell him you said that"

"Don't you dare!" I giggle and look up at him with a grin.

"If you say so"

"We should go ahead to the Mansion."

"Why?"

"FRAGRANCE MAN BABY!"

"Oh no"

"Oh yes" Will walks to the mansion and I swim under it. Tommy still isn't there and I seem to be the only one worried. Before I can say anything Schlatt walks in.

"Hey fish girl!"

"Hey father fragrance"

"Wants some sand?" *insert crinkle noises*

"No

"Are you sure?" *Crinkling intensifies* I swim away trying to get the noise out of my head. I didn't need to see everyone smelling the sand, especially Will, he loves sand. I decided to check in with Jack, because as far as I know he is "stuck in the Nether and can't get out" That reminds me, Tommy didn't show up to smell sand, he always loves seeing schlatt the few times he shows up. I write a letter to Jack in sea foam

Dear Jack, How is it going in the Nether? Is Tommy helping you? He seemed a bit angry. Please stay safe :)

I wait for what feels like 50 seconds before I get a reply from Jack.

Hi Nikki! :), 

Tommy did help me and I am no longer in the Nether! He disappeared, something about 'fixing it all' I hope you do see the nether one day, and will do.

The letter brings a smile to my face but my worry about Tommy grows, he is only 18 and this is a new world to all of us. I decided to write a final letter to Jack.

That's great to hear Jack! Would you help me find Tommy? Or maybe we could explore? Schatts here and I am running for my life so he doesn't catch me.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but Tommy has feather wings and his legs look more muscular, he might have grown up a little. More and more I keep noticing that Tommy seems to grow into a man more and more. As much as I hate to see little stick boy grow up, it seems to suit him. His feather wings seem sad next to his muscular body. I suddenly get a thought, maybe Tubbo can look for him! "Tubbo! Tubbo are you home!" I yell at him from the ocean and suddenly I hear banging and Tubbo appears. Tubbo also is growing into himself, but his origins also have shaped him. He has maroon stripes on his arms and legs and a shulk tattoo on his arm.

"Anything I can help you with Nikki?"

"Can you look for Tommy for me?"

"Why?"

"I'm worried about him"

"Well, okay." He puts on his iron chest plate and puts it on. "I'll do my best"

"Thank you so much!"

"Anything for simp boy's girlfriend" He chuckles and starts jogging, leaving me in awe and flustered. I wonder if I have a tattoo of a wave or fish on my arm and I see a mark on my wrist I never noticed before. A wave with golden streaks and fish in it with incredible detail was perfectly viable on my wrist, but I wasn't complaining. Tubbo's hair tips were now maroon and he had muscles just like Tommy now had. Even though he was shorter than Tommy, his facial features now showed he was older, and I thought that would be good for Tommy. A bird suddenly swooped in and dropped an ash colored piece of paper into my hands.

Hi Nikki! It's Ori, and I am in the Nether! Do you happen to have any helpful information on how to get out? Jack has said some things but I don't fully understand the whole thing.

I gasp, I haven't seen Ori in such a long time. I forgot he was also on the list to be selected for an origin. Maybe I should forget about Tommy. I grab some sea foam.

Dear Ori, I don't know that much about the Nether since I can't even go on land, but I would love to explore the world with you. Does Jack have a portal you can use?
