Chapter 8

!Time Skip!      *Kurapika and Cato are at a hotel rn*

Catos POV

"Alright it is safe to take the blind fold off" I hear Kurapika say as I take a seat on what  believe is a bed

All i did was nod as I take my blind fold off and blink my eyes a couple of times to get use to the new lighting. After a couple of blinks I look around the room and take it all in. 2 beds with a TV that is in the middle of both beds on the opposite wall. A big window beside it on the other wall that showed over York new city. and then, the bed that i was on, had a bathroom and in front of my bed stood Kurapika and then behind him was a fridge and a counter top with a microwave.

I look back up at Kurapika and see him just looking at me, like exampling me or something. i won't lie....he is creeping me out a bit

"Oi! Earth to Pika!" I yell at him as i snap my fingers a couple of times

"Huh? Oh! I apologize! I was just thinking.." Kurapika says as he turns around and starts making some food. "You hungry?" He asks me

"Yeah i could eat" I say as i lay down looking up at the ceiling with my arms spread out

"Romen good?"

"Sure"

-Time Skip- 

3rd person POV

As Cato and Kurapika were eating there food they were trying to bond with each other, although it was a bit hard concerning that with Catos power, she knew everything about the blonde headed boy.

"This is so weird.." Kurapika says as he takes a sip of his drink and places it back down on his bedside table

"Mhm, trust me this is as new to you as it is for me...it is like...hmm.. how do I put this...like we are the same person? Hmmm maybe not that one" Cato thinks as she places her index finger and thumb on her chin.

"No, no, I get it, in some way, but i get it" Kurapika reassures the white haired girl

"Alright.." She says as she looks down at her food and playing it for a minute before and looks back at the blonde haired kurta

"Hey, sorry, i know this personal but when I look at your memorize or rather they keep poping up, I keep seeing a family, friends....and well...they are all gone...I am sorry for your lost, truly and if I can help in anyway tell me, I own you for getting me out of that hell hole. But besides that, I want to tell you that now matter what, if you stayed or didn't there was nothing you could change for the Troupe to not have murdered your family and friends...I know that is something you don't want to hear and trust me, i understand...well now I guess I would understand because of this power of mine. But for some reason I can...feel...what you are feeling...is that weird..? What am i saying...of course it is weird. Sorry i will stop now.." Cato says as she looks away from the boy as she had thought she had upset him in some way shape or form

"...." Kurapika said nothing...He honestly couldn't say a word but stare at her in pure shock. Yeah he knew that she knew about his clan but he would never have guessed she would feel what he felt and could play out the scenarios in her head...Just how far does this power go? There has to be a limit right? 

"No..." Was all the boy could spill out after a couple minutes of awkward silence

"No..?" Cato asks with a look of confusen when she looks back at the boy

"Oh..ah..no you are fine..really..honestly yeah it is pretty hard to hear that..that there was nothing I could do...but it helps to know that someone else knows how it feels and not just a bunch of fakes ya know? I am not saying my friends are fakes, I do care for each of them deeply...but they will never understand fully what it was like for me...well because we are all different you see? So people tend to handle a problem differently then others, is what I am trying to say. Thank you Cato..really. I am glad I could help you and I would love your help but you don't owe me anything really" Kurapika smiles warmly at the girl in front of him

Cato was a little taken back by the boys words. She then felt her cheeks heat up "Shut up you are so embarrassing" She says as she tries to hind her blush with the back of her hand looking away from the boy

Kurapika just laughs as she sees how much alike Killua and her are.

"Stop laughing moron! It's not funny!" Cato yells as she throws a pillow at him. He dodges the pillow and stops laughing and just smiles at her

"You and Killua are very much alike i can tell.." Kurapika says as he gets up and throws his noddles away and the takes his cup and takes a sip

Cato perks up at the name of her twin that she is hoping to see

"Really? What is Killua and Alluka like anyway?" Cato asks as she throws her noddles away and starts to stretch her limbs from sitting for so long

"Hmmm, well he can be a hand full at times but he is really strong. He cares deeply for his sister, Alluka, and Gon, his first real friend. He loves chocolate, oh god, you will not believe how much that kid eats that stuff." Kurapika says with a chuckle at the end

"Hmmm what else...well he has white, soft hair, like you do. same blue eyes and pale skin. He maybe a little taller than you are but we will have to see after I can get in touch with them and we can meet up. Him and Gon maybe on an adventure...I believe Alluka is taking the hunter exam some time so she is away training. I don't know that much about Alluka though...I know that she has a power, like you do but waaay different, you would have to ask Killua when we meet him about it" Kurapika says as he goes into the bathroom and changes his clothes for bed

'I can't wait to meet you brother' Cato thought as she soon feel asleep
