You walked up to the hospital, JJ was by your side and you both walked up to your mom. She gave you a hug, and looked at you both.

"He doesn't have much time, and he doesn't look well.. Just a warning." She said. You both nodded, and you went inside.

As you went to go in his room, JJ stopped. She prepared herself, for whatever was going to happen. You didn't want to be too rude, and but you didn't want to be forgiving.

"I'm glad you made it, Y/N." He said as you sat down. JJ gave him a hug.

"What happened, dad?" JJ asked. He took her hand, and sat her down. Your mom on the other hand, walked out of the room.

"It doesn't really matter, now. There's not much time left for me, and i want to spend it with my family." He said. You shook your head.

"Do you want me to bring the boys? I'll call Will, and they can say goodbye." JJ said sadly. He nodded, and she left the room.

"Y/N, are you even going to look at me?" He asked.  You ran your fingers through your hair.

"You know when you just said 'as a family'? I don't remember you being my family." You said.

"Y/N, please.."

"No. You abandoned me, and now because you're dying you expect me to forgive you?" You asked. You stayed calm, so you wouldn't cause a seen but he knew you were furious.

"No, i know what i did was wrong. I don't expect you to forgive me, not at all. I regret everything i said to you. I said those things about you being gay because i was never there to see you in any relationships and be happy. I know Jennifer had her hookups with women, and i've never cared." He said.

He spoke in a whisper, and you knew why. You also didn't know what to do in this moment. JJ walked in, saving you both.

"Hope it wasn't chaos in here when i left." JJ said sitting down. You shook your head.

"Will is bringing the boys. They'll love to see you.." JJ said. He placed his hand on her cheek, and she began to cry.

You got up, and you slipped into the hallway. You quickly called Charisma.

"Hey, how's is going?"

"I'm not sure, honestly. He apologized, and i don't know how to feel. Well, i feel like i want tequila." You said jokingly.

"You wish. You know, Y/N. It's okay to hate him, but to love him. You had a tight bond when you were younger, and then he left. You have every right to hate him, and to love him. It's okay that you don't know how you feel, it happens." She said softly. You hadn't realized you began to tear up.

"Why do i need a therapist, when i have you? I want to hate him, so bad. But i can't. We did have a tight bond, and i think that's why it hurt the most when he left. I thought he was happy with me, and my mom." You said as a tear fell down your face.

"Oh, dear. Come to my house after this, i don't want anything to happen. Okay?" She said. Your mom walked up behind you.

"Okay. I'll see you soon, i love you." You said. "I love you too."

"Was that Emily?"

"Um, no. Charisma. She was checking in." You said. Your mom tilted her head, she then put her hand on your cheek, and she wiped the tear.

"It's going to be okay, Y/N." She said. You nodded, and she pulled you into a hug.

"Okay. Here's what what's going to happen." You said as you walked back into the room.

"I don't forgive you. I don't forgive you for abandoning me, and my mom. And i definitely don't forgive you for anything you've ever said to me. They were hurtful, and you don't know what that can do to your own kid. But i am happy i have JJ as my sister." You said as you looked at her.

"I never thought it'd end up this way, and i never knew i'd see you again. That's the only thing i'm thanking you for. JJ has been one of my best friends, and i never expected her to be my sister." You said calmly. JJ smiled.

Suddenly the boys ran in, and they jumped on the bed. They laid with him, for as long as they could. You spent a lot of the night, in that hospital. After he passed, JJ couldn't bring herself to leave. You sat there, and you held her.

After JJ was finally able to leave, you sat there. You didn't know what to feel. You hated him so much, but yet you still loved him. You laid your head on your arm, and you sat there. For a long time.

"Y/N honey. Daddy just got home, let him sit baby." Your mom said. You didn't listen. You ran up to him, and gave him a hug. But only could reach his legs.

He picked you up, and he swung you around. Your laughter filled the air.

"Who's my favorite daughter?" He asked giving you a big hug.

"I'm your only daughter."

"And my favorite! Y/N, i got you a present!" He said as he put you down.

"What is it? What is it?"

"Here." He said as he handed you a box. You opened it, and it was the doll you've wanted for a while. You were so happy. You asked your dad to play dolls with you, and he agreed.

You played dolls with your dad all night, until your mom yelled it was dinnertime.

*flashback end*

You suddenly couldn't breathe. You needed to get out of that hospital fast. You didn't know where to go, but you needed to leave.

You suddenly stopped thinking, and went to the place you've always known where to go.

You walked inside, and you sat down. A familiar face walked up to you.

"Y/N! I haven't seen you in so long. What's it been, a few months? What would you like?" He asked.

"Um. Tequila." You said. He nodded. He came back with a few shots of tequila. He placed them in front of you, and you held it in your hand.

You sat there for a long time, you hadn't realized how long it actually was, but you didn't care.

"I knew i'd find you here." Charisma said as she sat down. You didn't say anything.

"Well. We're drinking now? Yeah uh, can i have some to please?" She asked the bartender. He sat them down in front of her. She took a shot.

"Well, go on. What're you waiting for, Y/N? If you want to drink, then do it. No one's stopping you." She said.

"Except for you. Look at me, Y/N." She said. You put it down, and you turned to look at her.

"I'm so sorry about your father. But we both know this isn't the way to go. Why don't i take you home to Emily, and we'll see how you're feeling in the morning. Yeah?" She said. You nodded, and you both left.

You walked inside, Emily was on the couch. She quickly got up, when she saw you both walk inside. You sat down, as the two talked. When Charisma left, Emily sat down next to you. She pulled you into her arms, and you broke down.

You hadn't realized you remembered that memory, because you've always pushed it away. But now that it's here, you've never missed your father more.

She held you all night, until you couldn't cry anymore. All of your emotions hit you, and you broke down. You've never really broke down, without alcohol so it was new to you.

Emily put you to bed, and she still held you all night. You wouldn't know what you'd do without Emily, or Charisma.
