Lewis woke up tembling and in a cold sweat. "Ugh, another nightmare..." Lewis had been having nightmares ever since his mom had left him and his dad. It didn't happen to long ago either.

"Aye Lewis! It's 7:30, are you up yet?" That was his dad. Scott was a rather 'normal' guy. Brown hair, sapphire eyes, and an average body structure. Lewis however was a wimpier version of his dad. Knotted caramel hair, hazel eyes, with a slim and weak body to top it off.

He jumped out of his bed, combed his hair as much as he could and found some half decent clothes to wear.

"Hey kiddo! How's my favourite monkey today!?" His dad always greeted him like this "Could you not?" Lewis snapped "Did someone wake up on the wrong side of the bed? Awwe diddums" his dad cooed "Not the wrong side, but the wrong way. And can you KNOCK.IT.OFF!?" Lewis was going to rage.

"Geez, fine. What do you want for breakfast? We have a variety of food to choose from"

Ok, let's just get through this day. It shouldn't be too hard to get through, right?

Lewis' school wasn't that far from his house, that was something he found useful. He felt a small vibration coming from his right pocket, probably his phone getting a notification. It was a message from Scott.
                                                  -Scott

S: Hey dude, are you at school yet? Been waiting all morning for you:/

L: Yeah, I just had to convince my dad that he should stop using little kid language on me lol

S: So.. he treats you like a baby?

L: No. He just called me his 'favourite monkey' and 'diddums' it really annoys me

S: You better stop texting me, you'll be late for school. You only have 5 more minutes until you'll be officially late
Read: 9:10am

Ahh! I always WAISTE my time doing USELESS stuff that never benefits me. I need to stop.

I entered the school.

Ding dong. Ding dong.

I'm now officially late..

The sound of the school bell signalling lunch was relieving. I could finally take a break from my classes, at least for awhile at the most. I was headed to the cafeteria when I got a shoulder tap. Scott. "Hey dude!! Wassup?" Something good had clearly happend. Anyone could hear the lightness and jumpyness in his croaky voice "Ok, tell me what happend" I say with a smirk smeared all over my face "Well ummm, I got this invite thingy from George and it's to his 15th birthday party!!" His smile was contageous, I smiled back "Good for you.." "Have you received an invite yet dude? People who got an invite before lunch were the only ones getting invites" "Nope, no invites were received today" "Ohh, dude I'm so sorry! I won't go I'll spe-" "No no no, you go. I'll be fine on my on dude. I'm 15 remember?" "Ok, because like, I don't want a fight to happen between us or somethin' and then we aren't friends anymore then one of us becomes the laughing stock of the school and stuff" Scott was rambling again, like dude seriously, it's fine "I'm gonna be ok, I swear on... Something!" Scott sighed "Ok, that's good!"
