"He's with me...."

Jimin turned around at the speed of the light. His eyes twinkled with bright stars as he saw the alpha of his dream standing around the corner.

Jimin immediately gave his best eye smile as his scent sweetened. The alpha guard raked his eyes towards Jimin because of his sweet scent but the Prince was standing in front of him with his familiar cold eyes. So he controlled himself from ogling over the omega and bowed to the Royalty.

Taehyung took steady steps as he zeroed his gaze on the guard. Jimin's was Omega was practically howling in joy as their alpha was here to save them. His every step was counting along with Jimin's heartbeat.

'Please step on me!!', Jimin howled internally.

"This Omega is with me. No need to stop him.", Taehyung spoke in his usual deep voice to which Jimin seemed to drown even more.

"My apologies your highness!", The Guard said still bowed 90 degrees.

"You can leave.", Taehyung said. The guard took this que and immediately fled from the scene. Jimin still had his dreamy eyes fixed on the tall, tan skinned alpha, practically drooling.

"Follow me.", Taehyung said quietly without sparing shorter any glance.

Taehyung took some another path to lead Jimin out. It seemed to be a secret passage. Although Taehyung was conscious of the surroundings still he didn't manage to drop his tough attitude. He was quietly until Jimin spoke up.

Of course, how can be the journey with Jimin be calm and quiet?

"Thank you for helping me earlier!!", Jimin said slightly jumping from besides the taller male trying to gain his attention.

"I had told you not come here. But then again, why would you listen?", Taehyung said still not looking. "And I didn't help you for yourself. I just didn't want anyone to bring little suspicious omega to my parents who also happens to be the ex-promised mate of my Hyung who ran away from his own marriage..."

Jimin frowned at this. But then he smiled. At least this alpha was making some conversation with him...

"So what if they bring me to your parents? I would tell them that their youngest son kidnapped me so that he could marry me instead of his Hyung!!", Jimin giggled at his own thoughts.

Taehyung turned to him with an annoyed look. Jimin couldn't exactly make out those expressions. But he was quick to zip his mouth up.

"I didn't kidnap you to marry you! Huh... Why would I even? Do you think that they would believe you rather than me? I can always tell them that you wanted no responsibility of marriage thus you ran away. But now suddenly you are ogling over your ex-promised mate's younger brother!", Taehyung sarcastically gave off a chuckle.

Jimin pursed his lips in a thin line. He didn't know what to say. Taehyung now took a swift look at the younger who suddenly became quiet. He sighed a little and then spoke up.

"Listen Jimin. I know you feel something towards me and that's why you try to approach me. But let me tell you... It can never happen. So don't let your hopes up.", Taehyung said. Now they were standing in front of the back gate of the castle.

"Is it because I'm not your type?", Jimin asked a little disappointed. He had turned his gaze towards the ground.

"To tell you honestly... You're not.", Taehyung answered honestly. Jimin's heart broke to pieces after hearing that. His eyes filled with tears but threatened to fall.

"T-then... Is there anyone whom you love?", Jimin didn't want to know but at the same time wanted all the answers.

Just why this alpha couldn't spare him a glance? Just why this alpha kept giving him an attitude?

Taehyung chuckled bitterly at the question. Memories flooding with his long time crush, a small raven boy with adorable bunny smile.

"It doesn't matter now anyway....", Taehyung said as he opened the gate to show Jimin outside. Jimin quietly walked outside while Taehyung remained on his place. Jimin didn't want to show him his tears so he kept his glance on ground.

"Why?", He mumbled quietly but Taehyung caught it.

Taehyung let out an airy laugh which didn't reach his eyes. It was just sulking. Jimin looked at him finally, waiting for the answer.

"Because.... My Kookie is mated and happy now....."
