Rose P.O.V.
Next morning we did our usual routine for getting ready for school. We didn't talk about what happened yesterday but I knew we had to find help quick. I got dressed in the living room I threw on my army fatigue pants and my black flawless shirt and my black combat boots. I tied my hair into a fish tail going down my back. I left the living with an outfit for Blossom to wear. I sat it down on the counter next to her cereal.
" Thanks Rose" she said
"No problem Big head" I said laughing. And with that I ran out the house with my books purse and phone. I walked down the stairs and got in the Tatiana' s car making sure I hid the pressure I was feeling on my chest.
As soon as I slid in the seat Tatiana stared at me intensely.
" Spit it out...now" she said. Damn this girl is good. She pulled out the apartment. I proceeded to tell her about my mom's death and the eviction notice and the depressing shortage of food.
" Your living with me" was all she said after I was done telling her my story.
" Are you sure?" I asked not wanting to be a pest on anybody.
" Hell yeah I'm sure ..shit you ain't bout to stay in that damn rat hole" she said. I just smiled from ear to ear.
Knowing that me and sister were going to have a comfortable place to lay our heads was enough to warm my heart. I had a loyal and loving friend something that other girls don't have.
"But anyway I know you still planning on going to that party right?"
I let out a sigh and nodded my head.
"Yasss Girl good you need to get out that damn house..oh yeah sis can stay with my sister Sydney.. And we going shopping."
"Alright, that sounds cool" I said in agreement. Me and my bitch bout to turn up. We pulled into a parking space and did our little looks in the mirrors.
" Let's go make these hoes jealous" we said together.We stepped out the car together and we walked into Mrs. Jones class and sat down at the lab tables. The announcements were playing over the intercom and the last one caught my attention.
"And we'd love to announce that our senior class Valecdectorian is Rose Ragazza!! Everyone if you see this young lady congratulate her" the announcer said. Causing me to blush and everyone in the class to face my seat. I saw looks of envy, hatred, and jealousy. The only ones that was clapping was Tatiana, Mrs. Jones, Eric and Erica the most adorable twins. I felt so proud of myself and for a moment I forgot about the problems at hand. The rest of the day I got "congratulations" and " I'm so proud of you" every where I turned. I ain't gonna flex I was enjoying it. I was so excited when the dismissal bell rung I was ready to hit up Ray Ray party tonight. Me and Tati went shopping and got dresses and some new heels. I even put in some job applications. When we left we went to go get my sister from the apartment. It was a fairly short ride from the mall to the apartments.
"How's your sister?" Tatiana asked
"She's actually holding up..better than me by the way. She's my support system I don't think I could go through this without y'all" I said wiping the tear that escaped my eyes.
"You alright girl..stop crying you strong I don't how you do it though.." Tatiana symphonized with me.
"Yeah you right"I said as we pulled into a parking spot.
" You need my help?" She asked
"Sure..brace yourself" I said
I unlocked the door and we step I could feel Tatiana's shock build in her chest. I turned towards her and gave her that " are you okay" look. She just nodded. I called blossom and told her to pack everything she wanted to take with her. I led Tatiana to the living room and pointed to the boxes full of the clothes she bought me and asked her to help me take them downstairs. When we were done getting the clothes shoes and the toiletries I leaned over me and Blossom's pallet and was about to fold it up until Tatiana touched me on the shoulder.
"Yall won't need those" she said I looked at her and nodded my head.
"Thank you so much" I said
"No problem Rose" she smiled
After packing our bags we all went to the car. I looked back at the apartment thanking God that I didn't have to come back to it. We went to Tatiana's mini mansion and took all of all stuff to the guest house. When I made sure Blossom was comfortable I left to go to Tatiana's room. I walked across the big green lawn and up the gold plated stairs. Damn this girl had it made. When I finally made it to Tatiana's room I was exhausted but I was in awe at her room. Marble floors, elegant pictures of when she was a baby, a 100' inch TV, and a California king bed.
"Damn girl..how much this shit cost" I said catching my breath.
"500,000... Go take a shower I already took one" she giggled
I hopped in the shower and did a double take at the buttons in the side. One indicating the music and others indicating the temperature, pressure and the soap. From Tom Ford to Michael Kors and Louis Vuitton soaps. When I was done showering I realized that was the cleanest I've ever felt. I lotioned and brushed my teeth and washed my face. And left the bathroom. Tiana was already dressed and my bitch was bad as fuck. Rocking a cheetah Chanel dress that stopped mid thigh, along with red Dolce and Gabbana stilettos and her hair styled in curls.
" You look good girl" I complimented her.
"Thanks boo..hurry get dressed I'll be back" she said leaving the room. I turned toward my outfit laying on the bed. I slipped on my black longsleeve Versace mini dress and gold Louis Vuitton stilettos. I went to the bathroom and curled my hair in large waves and put on my gold chain earings. I put on a little mascara and some nude lipstick. When I was done I grabbed my clutch and sat on the bed and checked my Instagram. Everyone was talking about Ray's party. This shit was bout to be live as fuck. Tatiana came back into her room ready to go.
"Let's go boo" she said. And with that we left the house and headed toward her garage. She decided on her hot pink Range Rover out of a white Camero, red Bentley, yellow Lamborghini, and a black porshe.
We slid in the car and pulled off.
We arrived at the party 2 hours late but we was so bad it didn't matter. We did our little looks in the mirror and turned towards each other and said our little best friend phrase in unison.
"Let's go make these hoes jealous"
And with that we made our way to the party.
