My life sucks. It was all good and happy at first, but thanks to someone named Ayako, it sucks.
In my original world, I was a normal human, working a normal 9-5 office job. Sure, I didn't have a girlfriend or a wife, but at 20, not many do. Hell, a boyfriend or a husband would be fine.
But then, without warning, I was dragged into a world I thought didn't exist. The world was from a story called My Hero Academia, and I was now forced to be in it.
"Hello sir!" A tired looking child-like person chirped. "Welcome to my Tower!"
"What's happening? Who are you?"
"My name's Ayako Tatsunishi, and I'm here to mess with your life a bit!" The girl, who had demon-like wings, grinned, flashing sharp canines. If I didn't know better, I would have thought she was a demon.
"Why me?"
"Because your life was the most boring in your dimension! Have you ever wanted to go on an adventure? Explore your world?"
"Well yeah, but hasn't everyone?"
"You'd be surprised. Now, I'll give you a Quirk, and you'll be on your way!" Her wolf-like gray ears perked up, appearing to display her excitement.
I should have known not to take a stranger's words for granted.
She gave me a Quirk, as she said she would, but instead of sending me to my world once more, I was now floating through empty space.
"What's happening?" My words sounded bland, floating around the empty air.
After an unknown amount of time, I heard a loud noise, and all of a sudden there was light, and then I was standing on a huge floating rock.
I came to realize this rock was earth, and I was now walking earth before the dinosaurs.
In time, life began to form, and I realized I could speak to the animals that walked the earth with me.
"What are you!" One of the dinosaurs, a huge grey T-Rex, roared.
"Me? I'm just Koga."
"Kraga?" I smiled at it's inability to pronounce my name.
"Yeah."
"I'm Krak!"
"Nice to meet you Krak." I gave the massive creature a bow. "Now do you mind if I stay with you a while?"
"That's alright!" Krak roared, carefully lifting me up with it's massive jaws.
I stayed with Krak until he died, befriending one of his sons, a T-Rex named Dane. I named the purple dinosaur, and we became close friends.
In time, when the meteor hit, killing all of my dinosaur friends, I somehow survived. The next creatures that arose were humans.
I stayed in the shadows when the humans wandered the world, not wanting to mess up the world's timeline.
Over time the humans finally started civilization. As soon as they invented proper clothing and jobs, I slipped in and stole some that would match the kind they wore.
After multiple years of meddling with their lives, I ended up a soldier in the militia of a medieval city. Being unkillable, I was an invaluable resource for the crown. In time however, I grew bored and decided to leave.
The next 'life' I lived, I was a mage, making potions and other things to help the humans grow stronger. I was the best mage, but I grew bored of that too. I was many things throughout the years, living in each country of the world.
I can tell you for sure, the historians often are wrong.
The job I enjoyed the most was being a butler in a mansion estate. I worked hard, gaining a lot of respect as an intelligent and helpful butler.
"Myrtha!" My current master called the last name I currently went by.
"Yes master?" I bowed lowly.
"I wish to promote you."
"To what sir?"
"The captain of my guard."
"If I may ask, why sir?"
"Well, you have shown exemplary performance as a simple butler, so I believe you'd be better suited to a position of authority."
"I wish to decline your generous offer, sir. Instead I humbly request to become a free man once more."
"You may." He nods, holding out a hand to me. I took it, shaking his hand firmly, smiling sadly.
"Goodbye Karai."
"And good luck Koga." That was the first and last time he used my first name to address me.
After that, I decided to wander for a while, before I accidentally saved someone's life, and he claimed me as his brother.
The man's name was Jay Makato.
I was now Koga Makato, and not long after Jay bought a mansion, I met Ayako once more.
"'Ello 'gain." She drawled, nearly collapsing where she stood. "'M busy right now. Cme back la'er."
"No." I sighed, picking her up and carrying her down to the room she slept in. "You clearly need sleep."
"No! Need to finish it!"
"Yes." I set her in the bed, walking back upstairs to see what she had been working on.
When I did, any anger I felt for her disappeared. She wanted to help me go home, and fix the machine.
