Chapter 6

"So that's it no more karate?" Demitri asked Miguel while we were studying at the library, Miguel's mom had banned him from doing karate "I guess so" Miguel said sadly "it's probably for the best, it was starting to boost your confidence" Miguel looked at Demitri oddly "isn't that a good thing" Miguel asked Demitri scoffed "no, what has confidence ever gotten anyone other than a black eye and their backpack thrown in the trash"

"I thought it was kinda cool how you stood up to Kyler," Eli said softly "Are you insane" Demitri yelled "lemme ask you what is the best superpower anyone could have," we all thought for a moment "telekinesis," I said "super strength" Miguel answered "wrong and wrong, invisibility  distant second would be super speed so you could run away" 

"run away from who?" Kyler asked placing a hand on Eli's shoulder "whom" Brucks corrected him "it's the object of the preposition" we all started getting up "we were just leaving" Miguel said quickly but before we could get away Kyler grabbed Eli's face 

"Look at this freak ew what kind of girl would ever kiss this shit" I slammed my hand on the table causing everyone to jump "I would kiss him and I have kissed him," I said confidently, Kyler walked up to me "what is a pretty girl like you doing with these losers," Kyler asked holding my chin I slapped his hand "I would kiss Eli over you every single day Kyler, he's not the loser you are" I grabbed Eli's hand and pulled him away 

"Nice boyfriend you have" I spat at Sam when I saw her in the library. I continued to hold Eli's hand as we walked down the hallway, "Bella can I talk to you for a sec?" Moon called I nodded and walked over to her "what do you want Moon?" she sighed "do you have to date lip?" I glared at her "yes, I liked Eli and I will go out with him if I want to it isn't your decision" 

I walked back to Eli and gave him a hug "are you still coming to karate with me tomorrow?" I asked "yes Bella I am" I smiled and gave him a kiss "see you after class" I walked to social studies which is my least favorite class. 

We studied a Viking invasion which was extremely boring, I didn't know why we needed to learn this but whatever.  

After school, Eli and I decided to go to Starbucks "so what do you want to drink?" I asked he looked at the menu on his phone, "um I'll have the mango dragon fruit refresher" I grinned "ok that sounds good" I ordered his drink and a coffee frappuccino for me.

After we got our drinks we sat in silence for a moment "Bella why did you pick me" Eli asked softly "I mean you could get any guy you want and for some weird reason you chose me" I smiled "my whole life I've never been like the rich kids, never have been never will be, anytime Moon asked me which popular guy I wanted to date I said none of them, I only wanted you, Eli I don't care about status, all that matters is if you are nice and care about the people in your life, Eli I picked you because you are sweet and caring and funny, and as a bonus, you are very good looking" 

Eli smiled and blushed "I'm glad you picked me Bella" I grinned, soon I had to drop him off at his house that always made me feel sad, Eli was everything to me, and leaving him made me feel all alone.

The next day at lunch Eli, Miguel, Demitri, Aisha and I sat at our lunch table, Aish had recently joined Cobra Kai. The whole lunchroom was loud until Sam LaRusso walked in and everything went quiet. Se slowly walked over to our table "Oh don't even think about it" Aisha snapped "come on I need a place to sit" Sam begged 

"Why don't you go sit with Kyler, I heard he doesn't mind that you suck" Aisha spit I laughed a little, and Sam walked towards Kyler. "Think it's funny to spread lies about me?" Sam asked him "what are you talking about, we saw a movie and that's it...well maybe I saw a little more than you" Kyler laughed "yeah we heard you got a little chocked up" Bruck sniggered 

Sam smacked his lunch tray "Hey guys" Kyler shouted "you know that billboard with the big ass dick on it, I guess Sam takes after her dad"

"Hey Kyler" Miguel yelled "why don't you shut the hell up and stop being such an asshole" Kyler walked up to him "want another beat down, Reha? I'm ready for your lame ass karate this time" Miguel rolled his eyes and blocked a punch "it's not lame-ass karate...it's Cobra Kai" he punched Kyler and the rest of Kyler's buddies got in the fight, somehow Miguel managed to defeat all of them and everyone cheered 

"We are doing karate today right?" Eli asked I laughed "yes we are"

After school, Eli and I drove to Cobra Kai and many other people were there "are you ready" I asked Eli he nodded and grabbed my hand as we walked into the Dojo.
