Chapter 7: Who's That Girl?

Tuesday, June 2nd, 2020, 7:00 PM.
My House, Pleasantdale.

Over a month since the encounter with Johnson had passed like a VHS tape on fast forward, and I have somewhat moved on from it. It was no surprise that I did have weekly nightmares about it, and it should be pretty obvious by now what the cause of me waking up drenched in sweat and uncomfortably thirsty about once a week is. Not only is meeting the person who made my life hell able to shake me up the wrong way, but seeing such gore was just on another level. Having hemophobia only makes the memory worse.

About two weeks ago my friends introduced me to this one girl. Her name is Natalie, she has long, beautiful blonde hair, is the same height as me, her birthday is in April (she's currently 17 years of age), and has stunning blue eyes that could hypnotize even the strongest of souls. She's super nice, and is a very caring person. Best of all, she has two of the same interests as me; Pokémon and automotive stuff! Over two weeks, we got to know each other better, and a few days ago decided to go out together for the first time. She goes to my school (I already know that since I met her a few times at school), and turns out she also does Automotive Technology like me at the trade school I go to, except she's in the neighboring class as me.

The time that showed on the kitchen clock was 7:00 PM and I'm getting ready to go to the park with Natalie. I checked the weather and the moon phases, and the weather was partly cloudy and very serene, and with a full moon tonight. I messaged Natalie saying that we should go to my house when it gets dark. She texted back that she was fine with that. I then got my shoes on, got my pocket umbrella in case anything happens, hugged my mom goodbye, and headed out the door.

Hopefully nothing goes wrong.

7:07 PM.
Pleasantdale Park.

After a while of walking to the park where Natalie is, I texted her that I have just arrived at the park she was at, and she texted me back saying where she was in the park. The moment she texted me where she was, I saw her at a tree, waiting for me. I waved at her with a huge smile on my face, and she noticed me, her waving back at me also with a smile on her face. We then greeted, and we went for a walk together until it got dark.

The only thing I'm worried about is how she'll react when she finds out I'm a werewolf. What if she takes me the wrong way?

I'm starting to worry too much.

Let's just enjoy our time together and not worry about that bullshit.

9:05 PM.
Town Of Pleasantdale.

The sky was a shade of black, a handful of clouds dotted along the night sky, with stars sprinkled across the night sky. Natalie and I are now coming over to my house. Whilst we were walking home, we were talking about automotive stuff and Pokémon.

"What's your favorite Pokémon?" I asked Natalie.

"My favorite is Nickit. What about you?" Natalie replied.

"Mine is Glaceon." I replied.

"Oh cool," Natalie said.

"Pun intended?" I giggled.

"Yes." Natalie laughed.

We continued to exchange conversation, until I suddenly obtained some weird feeling in me that interrupted me mid-sentence, making me freeze. My soul left my body, with me recognizing that feeling.
