I walked through he forest. Slowly and carefully. Making sure I didn't step on any animals. Then I felt a tap on my shoulder. I took out my daggers and turned around. It was the serpent man again. I put my daggers back into there sheaths. I sighed. "Its you again" I said, sounding quite bored. The man nodded.

"I was wondering if you wanted to become immortal. As a gift for saving me." He said, "its painless of course"

I took a moment to consider it. Being immortal wouldn't be bad. I could kill all the  soul suckers I can. I nodded. "Sure, why not" I said. She put his hand on my head and I felt a heat surge through me. A light pink light came around me. I closed my eyes and breathed deeply. I could smell strawberries. I felt him take his hand off my head. When I opened my eyes.... he was gone.

                                                                       - A month later-

I walked through The woods. A different one this time.... this one have a bunch of Native Americans. They kept speaking of a helper person. Though I shrugged it off as a wise tale.

I closed my eyes and listened. I heard a crack and stopped. I turned to see a girl, about my age, with blonde hair and deep brown eyes. "Who are you?" I asked. She smiled.

"I'm Virginia Dare" she said. I gasped a bit. I had heard of her before. I turned to her fully. "Who are you?" She asked.

"I am Aretmis." I told her, "nice to meet you." I said. I broke out into a smile. Just then I heard another crack. I pointed my daggers toward the noise. Standing there was a boy with brown hair. I sighed and put my daggers away. "And who are YOU" I asked.

"Thats Billy the Kid" Virginia said. I cracked up.

"THE Billy the Kid. You've GOT to be kidding me" I laughed. They shook there heads. My smile faded and i stopped laughing. "Really! Cool!" I said smiling again. "Your a local legend!"

He smiled. "Ya, I've heard" he said. I giggled and sighed.

And thats how I met Virginia Dare and Billy the Kids. Two legends of America.
