"DJ! Stop it!" Bryce was getting annoyed. I couldn't bear to watch them both whine and fight like 3-year-olds, over nothing. I swear they bicker over stupid stuff like, I don't know, where they get to put their hands.

It's so dumb.

I look over at Leo, to see him rolling his eyes. I don't blame him, they're so annoying, all the time.

Jax is watching the whole thing, who is in the back seat, and Aiden is in the front seat.

We are on our way to school. It's Thursday morning at 6 a.m. We are supposed to go on a field trip. I think we're going to an abandoned pizzeria or something boring like that. Apparently, there were murders there. And like robot animals went cray-cray, but I don't believe all that junk. I bet the teachers will plant spooky things to scare us.

When we arrive we don't even go into the school building, We board the bus right away.

"You four. Dakota, Leo, DJ, Bryce. You better behave yourselves, okay? Don't bother with all the sibling crap, okay? Don't fight, don't argue, and don't be rude, okay? I love you." our mother was acting like this would be the last time she'd see us.

"Okay?"

"Yeah." we all say in unison.

At that, we board the bus.

It takes about half an hour until we make it to Hurricane, The small town half an hour away from where we live: salt lake city, UT.

When we get there a chill runs down my spine. It's kinda scary. It's dimly lit, with only one street light to be seen. We are in the middle of nowhere and there is no grass at all, it's just dirt.

With a dead-end street to my left, and an outcropping of trees to my right. It smells of--rotten flesh? That can't be right. Can it? No, I mean, yes, there were supposedly murders here, but like I said I don't believe that, one, and two, if it was true, surely the bodies are gone, right? The police had to have cleaned it up by now, the murders were years ago.

I move a little closer to my siblings, the instinct to both protect them, but also so they could protect me. I don't know what I'd be protecting them from, the killer would probably be long gone, I mean, the "murders" were 10 years ago.

"This place gives me the creeps," Leo said to me.

"Yeah, they weren't kidding when they said abandoned."

Leo laughed.

"What is that putrid smell?" DJ looked as if he had just seen a ton of maggots.

"Yeah, it smells like rotten something...." Bryce chimed in.

"Ugh, it smells like my dog just crapped all over the rug!" Aiden said.

"No, it smells worse than that," Jax said.

Jax and Aiden looked too grossed out to even open their mouths to talk.

Jax and DJ are my friends. I have known them for a long time, but they can act insane sometimes, that's what I like about them.

"Okay, everyone. We are about to go inside this place, we are just about done with the locks, they are almost done cutting them!" squealed Mrs. Cattaway, the head coordinator.

We all walk into the door, and it's so cold in the first room. I look over to see Bryce shivering.

And the stench is much worse in the building, but I think I'm starting to get used to it.

It's pretty cramped in the first room, there are about 30 kids in our co-op.

The room looks to be a Dinning area. In front of me, is about 12 feet of room, before you get to the tables and chairs. There are 3 rows of tables and chairs with 3 in each row.
