What everyone has been waiting for!!! Frederick flippin' Chase

In Frederick's house:

Ring! Ring! I sluggishly moved over to reach for my phone. The caller ID was unknown. I picked up the stupid phone.

"Hello? Who's this?" "Hi dad," said the familiar voice of Annabeth Chase, my daughter. She said the word, dad, with venom like it hurts.

"Annie?" "Yeah, it's me, Frederick. A friend and I are in town for the day. We were wondering if we could stop by." I pondered this for a few moments. The words resonated through the phone. I know I wasn't the best dad but I couldn't wait to see my baby girl.

"Frederick? Frederick?" the voice through the phone resonated, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Huh? Yeah, sure. You can drop by tomorrow at 6:00 for dinner."

The phone made a clicking noise signalling the call was ended. I ran to the bedroom where Helen was sitting. "Helen, dear, Annabeth and a friend are coming over for dinner tomorrow so let's get everything cleaned up." "That kid doesn't have any respect. Why is she even coming?" Helen wasn't fond of Annabeth if you couldn't tell. "It's ok, Helen. Just for a few hours."

I started to think about what I could get her. Oh! I know! Light bulb! I called my colleague, Ronald Sloan. "Hey Ron, I was thinking if your son, Matt, would want to date my daughter? "Oh yeah, sure, Frederick! Great idea!" "Okay, send him over tomorrow at 6:00." Ok, I know, I know, go around saying how good of a dad I am. I set my girl up with a respectful, mannered kid.

Tomorrow at 6:00:

Everything was set up nicely. There was salmon with a bit of salad for dinner. Ding! Dong! Oh, that must be Annie.

I rushed to the door and opened it. There, standing was a 24-year-old blond-haired woman with intense grey eyes that resembled her mom. Next to her, was a tall, hunky dude, who had shaggy black hair with sea-green eyes. Oh, no no no no! This dude is going to ruin my plan with Matt. He's probably a player who's gonna dump Annie in a week.

"Come in, come in!" I said, excitement clear in my voice. "Annie, it's been too long!" I said giving her a huge hug. She looked a little uncomfortable but returned it anyways.

"And who is this young man?" "Oh, this is my...friend, Percy," she said, hesitating a bit when she said, friend. The name sounded familiar but I couldn't place it. At least he wasn't her boyfriend. "Do sit down," I exclaimed, sitting down at the dinner table. Helen entered the dining room, glaring at Annabeth as she sat down. Annabeth seemed to notice and returned an even more terrifying glare. If looks could kill, I'd be all the way in Tartar Sauce. I think that's what it's called at least.

Annabeth sat next to Percy which peeved me a bit. The doorbell rang once more so I went to open the door. Matt was standing there with a bouquet of flowers. What a sweet man!

Matt walked in but froze when he saw Percy. Percy glanced at Matt and froze too. "Um.. do you guys know each other? Matt, did Percy bully you or something?" I asked. Before Matt could respond, Percy said, "Actually, it was quite the opposite. Matt used to bully me. Remember Percy Jackson, Matt?" There is no way that Matt bullied Percy. Percy must be saying this to impress Annie. "You? Bullied? No way! Right, Matt?" I questioned. I looked at Annie and she was fuming, while Percy put a hand on her shoulder to calm her down. Something glinted in the light on Percy's finger. Was that a ring on his ring finger? He was married? "Annabeth, get away from Percy! He's married and is using you as a toy," I screamed. "Yeah, to me," she said, lifting up her hand to show me a ring with a sea green emerald encrusted in it. That caught me off guard. I choked on my water. "You're married to this guy? He's probably going to dump you in two days! Whereas, Matt, is actually a son of Poseidon and can protect you!" I know, the son of Poseidon thing was a bit of a stretch but I'll try anything to get Annie to marry Matt.

In the night:

I didn't let Percy sleep with Annie but I let Matt. Annie chose the floor instead but I let it slip. I was sleeping when I heard an ear-piercing scream. I rushed to Annie's room but what I saw surprised me. Annie was crying and screaming while Matt was just sitting there helplessly. Percy shoved past me and ran to Annie, dodging all the kicks and punches thrown at him. he went over to her and calmed her down.

Once she was all calmed down, I said, "Annie, a word in private, please," she glared daggers at me but came. "Annie, I don't think you should be with Percy. He seems like a player," I said. "First of all, Percy's fatal flaw is flipping loyalty, so I shouldn't have to worry about him leaving me. Second of all, I will date Matt only if he falls into freaking Tartarus for me." "Please, Percy couldn't have done that." "Actually, the screaming was a flashback from when we fell into Tartarus and Percy is a son of Poseidon, not Matt. Come on Percy, we're leaving!"

She walked out the door with Percy following. Shichst. I really messed up.

How was it? I hate Frederick because he can be a real bish sometimes.
