I hate boys! People in general. They are such jerks and they can't be trusted. Backstabbing traitors.
Oh right! I forgot to introduce myself. Ugh, why do I have to? Fine, I'm Maia. Call me something else and you're done. I will slit your thro- Sorry, I have ADHD and Dyslexia. (Guess who her godly parent is) I have obsidian eyes with purple specks and I have straight black hair. My mom and dad are dead so I live by myself.
I'm on the track team. My best subject is sports and I sit alone at lunch. I don't really care though. I'm kind of like the school outcast.
I was walking into school when everyone stopped to stare. "What are you staring at, punks?" I said, forcefully. I walked down the hallway where I saw Matt Sloan, the biggest jerk in Golden Bridge High School, flirting with Annabelle. She's such a princess. She looks exactly like a stereotypical Californian with princess curls running down her back but she has stormy gray eyes. If looks could kill, I'd be six feet under. Matt, on the other hand, (Just saying, I have no clue how he's described in the book so I made up my own version) has brown hair which is spiked up, and blue eyes. In my opinion, he looks ugly as f-. I'll keep it PG in here. I don't know why girls want to date him.
"Hey darling, wanna come over?" the jerk said. "No Matt, I won't go out with you for the last time!"
"Why?"
"Because I have a boyfriend and I don't plan on cheating on him!"
"C'mon, I'm probably better and hotter than him," he replied. With that, she judo-flipped him. Princess freaking judo-flipped him! Hmm, maybe I judged a book by a cover. I like her. Not in a romantic way though. I hate people normally, but something about her is different.

After School:
It was after the final bell had rung, the leaves were falling from the trees, wind whistling. My house wasn't really that far away from school so I started walking on the sidewalk home.
The smell of petrol filled my nose. There were people biking, walking, and running on the sidewalks. I weaved through the humans, relieved to have finally reached the familiar dark blue door.
I took my keys out of my jeans pocket and fit it through the keyhole. Click! My dad left this house for me after he died. It was a tiny apartment on 8th Avenue. The apartment can get really lonely though. Not that I mind. The kitchen and family room was modern with a hint of vintage. The floors were a rustic dark wood that spread out throughout the entire house.
I removed my shoes and walked down the hallway to my room. The dark purple walls, which was my favorite color, the dark purple and black bed, and my black desk were what was in my room. That's literally all of it. I'm not one for interior design. I flopped onto my bed and turned on the music to full volume. MCR, my favorite band, blasted through my headphones. They are just the best band ever. I have a lot of MCR shirts, which I wear always. Hmm, what should I make for dinner? Oh I could get it from that Chinese place down the street. Nah, Chinese sucks. (No offense if you like Chinese food. I love Chinese food, personally) French? No. Italian? Maybe. Cereal or toast? Nah. Ugh, I'll figure it out later. Speaking of later, my science homework which I have postponed for 5 days saying, "Later, later" is due tomorrow. I hate science. My science teacher is so annoying. He has a thin mustache and is super thin. The dude's name is Lester Frail. He's creepy. Our English teacher is okay, I guess. His name is Paul Blofis. The P.E. teacher keeps scolding me because I apparently am cheating. He's just jealous that I'm way more athletic than that chubby face will ever be. That guy's name is Maurice Snodgras- wait, I'm rambling, yet again. Stupid ADHD. (Mr.Snodgrass is actually a dude. That's not his first name though. He's my PE teacher)
