Revenant X Pathfinder

No POV:

Mirage was walking home from a long day of work at the Paradise lounge. It was quite dark but thankfully he lived quite nearby.

He drove to his apartment block but couldn't help but feel like someone was watching him. Mirage glanced over his shoulders to make sure but saw no one.

He shrugged this off and went to his apartment room. he unlocked the door but could have sworn he heard what sounded like light scuttling across the wooden floor. He checked that nobody was there and once again, he didn't see anything.

He walked into his apartment and the door immediately slammed shut behind him.

"What the hell?!" He said.

He tried to open the door but it was locked. As he was trying to force it open, he heard something metallic hit the floor, followed by heavy breathing on the back of his neck.

He turned around and saw Revenant towering above him.

Elliot let out a terrified shriek and backed up against the door.

"N-NO PLEASE!! IM NOT READY TO DIE!! I JUST PAID OFF MY BOAT DEPT!! PLEASE, DON'T HURT ME!!" He cried. Revenant just looked at him quizzically.

"What are you talking about?" The simulacrum asked.

"I-if you have to kill me..." Mirage cried, grabbing Revenant's legs. "I only ask that you make it quick." Tears streamed down Elliot's cheeks and Revenant rolled his eyes. He kicked Mirage off of him and glared at him.

"Get a hold of yourself skinsuit! I'm not going to kill you! ...  Yet...."

"You... you aren't?" Mirage asked, wiping his tears.

"No!"

"Then why are you here??"

Revenant let out a sigh and furrowed his brow.

"Apparently, earlier today I hurt the MRVN's feelings and he is reeaaaalllyyy sad now. Your shitty roommate is forcing me to apologise to him but he won't talk to me."

"Sooo you want me to talk to him for you....?" Mirage guessed.

"LET ME FINISH IDIOT! I don't want you to talk to Path, I just want information." Revenant said.

"O-oh... umm... okay? What do you.... want to know?" Mirage asked.

"Your his 'best friend' right?" Revenant asked.

"Well, I don't know if I'd say-"

"DO NOT LIE TO ME SKINSUIT!!" Revenant shouted

"OKAY OKAY HES MY BEST FRIEND!!" Mirage cried. The poor guy was scared out of his witt.

"So you know everything about him?"

"I don't know! Maybe? Whatever it is you want to know I'll tell you!! Just don't hurt me please!!"

"What's his favourite drink?" Revenant asked.

Mirage quickly went from being terrified to being genuinely confused.

"Wait what?" He asked.

Revenant let out a long sigh.

"What's the robot's favourite drink..?" He repeated.

"Oh, well, it's uhh..."
