𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐬

"Y/n." Your eyes fluttered open as you finally woke up. "Sunshine my arm hurts." You turned to notice you had been sleeping on Denki's arm. "Oh sorry!" You scrambled to move off his arm. He flexed his arm and moved it around to get the blood flowing. "Had I been doing that the whole time?", you asked, pointing to his arm. "Yeah. I-It's fine though! I don't mind I just didn't want you to wake up."

"You could have woken me up."

"Eh not worth it", he shrugged. He poked your shoulder. "Nice onsie", he teased. "Shut up."

"It looks good on you", he said staring at you. He realized what he was doing and shook his head. "Sorry."

"We don't have hero training today. Would you want to go shopping?" you offered. Denki looked at you confused. "Shopping?" He cocked his head to the side. "Shopping for what?"

"Anything. We can go to the mall and try stuff on!" He seemed confused, but tried to understand. "Okay." "C'mon! Get changed!"

"Okay okay!"

You and Denki walked around the mall looking for stores to go in. "Y/n I feel so stupid. I don't shop at any of these stores." You elbowed him. "Hey!" "You're fine. That's the point is to walk around and just find things. Okay?" "Okay." He clung to your arm as you walked. He pointed to a store across the way from where you were. "Ooh can we go into that store?" "Yea."

You entered the store. Walls and shelves were filled with band posters, t-shirts, jewelry, stickers, and pins. Denki's face lit up as he looked everywhere. "Whoa look at all the stuff." Denki pointed to a large all might poster. "Deku would love this!" You laughed. "Yeah Deku loves anything with all might." Denki pointed to a shelf with blue and yellow canned drinks. "They have all might energy drinks?" He looked at you, his eyes wide. "Yeah of course."  You and Denki had been to the mall before, but this one was a location you had never been to together. Denki wasn't a very big shopper either, but he enjoyed shopping with you.

You went into a couple more stores until you came to a skincare store. "Makeup?", Denki asked, picking up a small container of face cream. "Nope", you said shaking your head. "I'm gonna get us a face mask to do later. It's like cream that you put on your face and it hardens and you wash it off." He gave you a scared look. "It's good for your skin. It doesn't hurt I promise." "Oh okay", he said nodding, still slightly confused.

You found an isle of face masks and facial care. Denki picked up a packet labeled "Watermelon Facial Mask." "They have flavors? Do you eat it or put it on your face?" You laughed. "They're scented. Not flavored." "But can I eat it?" he asked, eager. "No! Don't eat it Denki" you laughed. "Aw."

"Can we get this one?" Denki picked up a strawberry scented face mask. You liked strawberry. "Sure, we'll get that one."

You and Denki walked to the checkout, paid, and left. Denki seemed really excited about doing the face mask with you. "What's so exciting?" you asked, nudging him as you walked together, arms linked. "Nothing we just.. don't do small stuff like this often. I like it" he said smiling." "Well I like doing small stuff too. It's nice" you said as you continued walking back to campus. "Can we-. Can we do things like this more often? Like snacks and movies or going to the mall?"

"Of course we can."

"Hey sunshine?"

"Yeah?"

"Can I ask you a question?"

"Yeah?"

Just as Denki started to talk, Todoroki walked up to you. "Hey. I uh just- wanted to let you know that you left your.. pen in class. Here." He handed you your pen and sped walked away.
"What was that about?" Denki asked as you continued walking.
"Oh Shoto just gave me my pen back. I left it in class."

"Hm."

He looked oddly focused on Shoto. "You okay?" you asked. "Yea yea I'm fine" he said snapping out of his gaze and turning back to you. "Just spaced out."

"Sunshine.. can I sleep at your dorm again?" You raised your eyebrows. "Denki again?" He looked down. "I just like sleeping with you. I feel safe with you." He took your hand. "That's not weird, is it?" he said giving you a hopeful look. "No no it's not. But if you don't sleep in your dorm sometimes the others might start getting suspicious." "Sunshine." "What Denki?" "I kind of.. already told them." Your eyes widened. "Denki! We could get in trouble! Who exactly did you tell?" "Uhh Sero and Bakugou and Kirishima." "Denki!" "Sorry sunshine I couldn't keep it from them! But they promised they wouldn't interfere or tell anyone. Okay?" He gave you a reassuring look. "Okay." "Lets go do that face cream thing now."

"Okay first I need to put this on to keep your hair out out of your face" you said as you slid the headband over his head. Denki sat on the bathroom counter as you applied the gel to his face. "It smells yummy." "Yeah." "Can I please try some." "No Denki." "Please sunshine." "No you can't eat it! I know it smells good but you will get sick." He scrunched up his face. "But why did they make it smell so good if they didn't want you to eat it- hey watch the eyes!" "Sorry."

"Turn around." Denki turned around to look at the mirror behind him. "Ew it feels weird." "Don't touch it! You have to let it sit and then you peel it off." "Ohh." Denki's eyes widened. "Wait is that gonna hurt?" "No it doesn't hurt. Relax okay?" "Okay" he said taking a deep breath and exhaling. "Can I do yours?" "Sure." You handed him an applicator brush and pink packet. "So what else are we doing tonight?" "Hmm I don't know what do you wanna do?" He thought for a moment. "Wait am I supposed to put this stuff on your eyebrows?" "No Denki don't do that." "Okay I won't".

When he was done, he proudly set down the supplies and stood back. "I think I did pretty good!" You hopped off the counter and turned around to look. "Okay now we wait 15 mins." You went to go set up your laptop on your bed to watch something.

"We still have snacks from last night right?" you asked. Denki peeked from the bathroom and pointed to the stash of snacks in the corner of the room. "Yeah there should some Pocky and cookies left." "Thanks."

When you and Denki were ready for bed you climbed into opposite sides of the bed. You picked out what to watch and relaxed, eating snacks. About halfway through the movie, Denki noticed that you were falling asleep. He turned to look at you and saw your eyes halfway open and your head was leaned to the side. "Hey sunshine" he whispered softly. "Hmm?" you said, still falling asleep. "You can sleep on me if you want."

"Hm?"

"If you want."

You rolled over to face Denki and laid your head your head on his chest. He was shocked at first and didn't know what to do, but he slowly set his hand on your head and played with your hair.

"Y/n?"

"Hm?"

"I have something to tell you."
