"Anyone who wants to go first?" the man in the suit pulls everyone's eyes back to him with a smile.
"I'd like to go first," everyone turns to face Ojiro. "I'll be using my quirk tough," he adds with a nervous smile, "I'm not really use to fighting without using my tail."
"By all means, please do. We want you to try your best," the man replies, seemingly unfazed.
Ojiro looked at the man for a moment, something felt off to him about this Mr Croft.
"Everyone against the wall, Ojiro and 7, take your places in the middle of the gym."
The students do as Aizawa instructed and make their way to the wall. Mr Croft and the people with him do the same. The man puts down his bag and crouches down to take out a camera and a headpiece. He hands the headpiece to the woman and begins setting up the camera.
Ojiro and 7 are standing a few feet apart facing each other, waiting for something. Mr Croft looks over at his co-workers who both give him a small nod to signal that they are ready. A smirk appeares on Mr Croft's face before he finally says, "begin."
Neither Ojiro nor 7 moves, Ojiro starts looking around as if to question why 7 isn't doing anything when he suddenly starts walking towards Ojiro. Ojiro starts and turns to face him in a fighting stance. 7 keeps walking calmly and Ojiro decides to make the first move.
Ojiro rushes his opponent then jumps up, ready to deliver a devastating blow with his tail. He swings his tail with his full strength, but it never makes contact. He looks to see what happened to 7.
Was it his quirk?
He saw 7 on all fours, chest touching the ground.
He dodged?
The crowd of students marvel at his quick reflexes as he suddenly jumps up taking a few steps back to put a few feet between them once again, this time, taking a fighting stance.
Ojiro stares at the spot at his feet where 7 was, trying to process what happened.
"Oh come on, don't make it that easy," Mr Croft chimes in, his satisfaction coming through in his voice.
Ojiro broke out of his trance and went in for another attack. It was clear he was going to be playing offense for this fight.
The rest of the fight consists of Ojiro mounting attacks and 7 evading them and defending when needed. He didn't try a single attack until Mr Croft looks at his watch and speaks up, "Finnish this off would you, it's gone on long enough now."
Just like that, it was like he flipped a switch, 7 had just finished dodging another attack when he suddenly ran towards Ojiro. Ojiro was caught off guard and tries to defend, but before he could move, he is pinned to the ground with his wind knocked out and the sound of the impact echoing through the gym. On cue a buzzer sounded to indicate his 10 minutes were up.
7 straightens himself up and puts out a hand to Ojiro who just stares up at the ceiling. When he comes back to his senses he takes the hand and makes his way to the other students.
"Who'd like to go next," Aizawa askes unfazed by what just happened.
The students were all dumbstruck, taking a second before gathering themselves, when Mr Croft suddenly intervenes yet again.
"May I suggest the students opt for tag teams, that way they will have a better chance at winning."
The students all stared at the man, he wasn't being nice anymore, now he was just plain condescending.
