Eren X reader angst

A/n: This is season 4 Eren

He was different he wasn't his determined self anymore. Those Were  the thoughts going through your head you were laying on your bed re thinking your choice of getting engaged to Eren, two years before the scouts attacked Marley Eren had made up his mind to spend the rest of his life with you. He had proposed at the trainee camp where the both of you first met, Mikasa and Armin  had helped him set up everything because they both knew that he wasn't capable of doing it himself. The thing is throughout the two years that had passed he slowly was becoming someone else he wasn't the kind, loving, protective and caring person he was before when you two were alone spending time together. It was hurting you ,you two hadn't even talked in a while not just because he was locked up but also because "he didn't want to see anybody" you were upset with him you didn't know why he didn't even want to see his fiancé so today was the day he saw you whether or not he wanted to. You headed down to the cell being accompanied by Mikasa and Armin "for your protection" that's how Hange had said it you were at the last step Mikasa put her hand on your shoulder and nodded you took a deep breath and continued walking. You stepped in front of his cell he looked up " I said I didn't want to see anyone" he mumbled " I don't care I wanted to see you, I miss you Eren I missed the old you" you said " there is no old me (y/n) I'm the same as I was" he mumbled " yes there is an old you the kind one the protective one" you explain he gets up and walks towards you " I don't remember being like that" he says you show him the engagement ring he had gotten for you " yes there was you even promised me that that was true" you say he takes your hand and stared at for a few seconds " this was two years ago" he states, you look into his eyes " promises can be broken in that time" he lets go of your hand your eyes starting to water " so it meant nothing" your voice started to crack he starts to laugh " of course it didn't that thing is just a piece of rock with metal. Now you were really going cry " what I did was a mistake" he said mikasa and Armin look over with concern in their eyes tears started to fall down yours " you know what Eren!" You take of your ring " Take it Take it back we can just forget about getting married I should have never said yes if I knew you were going to turn out like this you've become an asshole a jerk a lowlife who only cares about himself!" You yell he stares at you with nothing but a plain face. You see his reaction you reach your hand inside the cell and slap him as hard as you could " your a piece of shit!" You yell before walking away Armin and Mikasa hurry behind you asking you if you were okay tears streaming down your face you felt like someone had just ripped your heart out.
