We walked down the cobbled path, my hand was in Five's. He rubbed his thumb over my knuckles to calm my nerves, as I was worried about what lied ahead.

"We'll be fine", Five whispered to me. I looked up and smiled at him.
"I must say Number Five and Y/n. In all my years of that I have worked here. I've never seen anyone who works like you both", the handler smiled.

We walked through the massive doors, then entered the building. We all turned left, then headed up the curved staircase.

"If things work out for you both here, and you do very well working here, you could potentially take over", the Handler added.
"Well we'd like to talk about our family's safety, ASAP!", I snapped.

"Y/n! Remember to contain your anger", Five whisper shouted to me.
"Sorry", I whispered back.

"Also, this body replacement that you talked about a while ago.....", Five asked.
"Just slow down, you two. You have all the time in the world here, now you both have agreed to work for us again. I think you'll both be pleased to know that the briefcase is no longer part of your kit. So please....free your mind", She explained.

We carried on walking down the corridor at the top of the stairs, until we reached a room. We stopped. Five leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed, then cocked his head to look inside the room. There were hundreds of desks in rows, with people typing away on their typewriters.

"You'll both be working in management now, and all the people on this floor are case managers, each and every one are responsible for one major event at a time", she said.
"Wow! There's so many of them", I gasped.
"It's quite impressive, isn't it Y/n? Being part of something... so important.....Now Come along", she ordered us.

We carried on walking down the small, dimly-lit corridor.

"Whenever a person accidentally alternates and changes the timeline, the Commission gets a report from field agents nearby. These reports are then assigned to a case manager. Who decide is that person needs to be....well you know. Based on their decision, the case manager sends instructions by the tubes to....Well assassins like you both used to be. So Number Five and Y/n..Any questions so far?", The handler carried on explaining.
"Yes I do! Who was the case manager handling us?", Five questioned.
"Oh.... the apocalypse, Well Five, Y/n meet Dot"
"Oh, hello there", Dot giddily smiled to us.
"Dot is responsible for all apocalypse and doomsday matters. In fact, it was Dot here who first said about your appearance back here in 2019", The handler darkly smiled.
"No hard feelings", Dot reassured.

I gritted my teeth, trying to contain the anger that was boiling up inside of me. I clenched my hands, which were sweating.

"I thought you both would like a challenge...which is why I've given you quite a complex first task. Anyways....if you have any queries, I'll be in my office down the corridor", the handler said as she showed us our desk and then walked off to her office.
