(Time skips to next week at breakfast)

"What classes do you guys have?" Draco asked.

"DADA, then Care of Magical creatures, then potions. We went over this last week Draco." I said. "Why haven't you memorized it yet?"

"Why memorize it when I have you, Peyton?" He chuckled. 

"You have me and Pansy too." Blaise complains.

"Yeah, but Y/N's better at paying attention."

"I pay attention." Pansy interjects.

"To Draco." I sneer. Pansy whips her head around and glares at me. "I mean I'm not lying." I shrug.

"Now who's acting like a bitch." Pansy accused.

"I never told you that you were a bitch."

"Oh but you told Blaise."

"Blaise!"

"Sorry. I didn't mean too."

"You know what? I don't care. I was telling the truth, you were, and still are, a bitch." I fumed.

I stand up and turn around. I walk towards the Ravenclaw table. I spot Alayna and River almost immediately and head over to them. 

"Hey." I say sitting down on River's left.

"Hey girlie." Alayna giggles.

"How come you're sitting here? I just saw you with Malfoy, Zabini and Pansy." River pondered grabbing a croissant from a plate to his right.

"Pansy's being annoying. So I left."

"Oh." Alayna pauses. "What class do you have?"

"First?" Alayna nods. "Defense."

"Aw. We've got potions." I frown. 

"I've got potions last."

"I heard Professor Snape's mean this year. We haven't had him yet." River began.

"Eh. He was like normal, at least for me." I advised.

"Probably because you're Slytherin." claimed Alayna as she opened a book.

"Maybe." I pause. "Well, I probably have to get to class."

"Ok. Don't forget you're coming to my dorm later." River pipes up.

"I won't." I smile and head to class.

(Time skips to Care of Magical Creatures)

Hagrid was waiting for his class at the door of his hut. He stood in his moleskin overcoat, with Fang the boarhound at his heels, looking impatient to start.

"C'mon, now, get a move on!" he called, as the class approached. "Got a real treat for yeh today! Great lesson comin' up! Everyone here? Right, follow me!"

We followed Hagrid for what seemed like forever until we got to a paddock. There was nothing in there.

"Everyone gather round the fence here!" he called. "That's it – make sure yeh can see. Now, firs' thing yeh'll want ter do is open yer books –"

"And exactly how do we do that?" grumbled Draco as I turned to look at him.

"Eh?" Asked Hagrid.
