Chapter Five // It's Not What You Think

Sidney's POV

"I wonder where Zach is" I said to Emily while we were eating lunch at the Uni Cafe.

"Don't you mean your 'Secret' Crush?" She replied with a mouthful of mashed potatos.

"Hey! You know I don't like you talking about him that way!" I informed.

"I know, just teasing ya."

"Well anyways do you know where Zach is? He would never miss green soup tuesday! It's his favourite food day at the cafe." I asked with a worried tone. 'Where could he be' I thought in my head.

"He's probably gone on one of his 'adventures' again." Emily sounded like she wasn't interested. Like that Zach didn't matter to her. Her tone sounded like she was more bored at this than Literacy.

"Well I'm going to go look for him ok?" I replied with an annoyed voice.

"Ok, good luck with the goose chace!" She shot back at me.

"Whatever!" I yelled as I was running down that hall to the door. What possibilites that could be happening to Zach right now I tried not to think of as I jumped right on to my horse Azalea and rode at top speed right to Zach's house. For some reason, at the uni, Azalea was very famous for the speed that she could go up to. Which brought me up the popularity chain with her.

As I was riding Azalea down Kelly Lane (Zach's street) I just caught a glimpse of a boy, he looked a lot like-

"ZACHARY ADAM AHUDI!" I shouted, possibly louder than I've ever shouted before.

"Oh, hey Sidney! What ya up to?" What am I up to? Did he see my expression yet?

"Why werent you at school today?!" still practicaly shouting.

"Me and Jeffery had to stay home to do some research."

"About what?" I asked. I wondered why they would have to stay home the entire day just to do some researching.

"Some stuff."

"What stu-" I gasped when I saw Jeffery. I saw a floating sand block and what looked like he was controling it with his mind!

"It's not what you think!" Zach screamed.

As soon af Jeffery heard Zach's LOUD comment he ran over. At the same time he started running over the block dropped immediately right on to the ground.

"What's going on!" Jeffery hissed.

"Umm. We have a new crew member." Zach seemed to mutter when he said 'crew member'.

"Wow nice one Zach. So I'm guessing she already knows about what I can do huh?"

"Kind of?" He replied.

I was in shock. I couldn't believe that I was going to be part of their crew, their team, their friendship. Then I just settled down. Then I said

Zach's POV

Sidney said "I'll keep it a secret. I promise."

I could tell right now that Jeffery was extremely ticked over me.

"Jeffery, you do realize all she did was walk up to me while I was looking through the books. Then she saw you just out of curiousity. You can't accuse me for how she saw you using your unknown powers!" I did not want to be the one to blame at Jeffery, mostly because of the powers he has, even though he is a beginner he already knows how to pick up blocks with his mind and probably even throw them at me so I didn't wanna be on the one to blame side.

"Look let's just get her informed so she can be on the same page as us ok?" I wanted to inform Sidney as much as possible so we wouldn't be playing 20 questions all the time. Jeffery nodded so I started informing her about everything that has happend so far. The journal, Jeffery's super powers, and even Shade's house. When I finally finished I could see in her eyes that she was worried. No just about me, but about Jeffery. I don't know why she looked so worried though. I would be to because secretly I have a crush on her! But still, something about her expression just told me that this is to dangerous, don't do it! But I had to. For my friend and humanity as we know it. I decided to tell her that once Jeffery was done practicing his skills and once I finish my research for the day, that I would walk her home.

When Zach finally finished his training I decided to start walking home with Sidney. We didn't talk much, just Sidney being facinated about what she just saw. But for some reason, it felt like someone was watching us as we walked home. I didn't question it though. The sounds surrounding us that made me feel that way was the exact description of what Jeffery said what he heard when he was heading home. Just like him, I stopped and paused a few times, looked around, and when I thought it was safe we would just keep walking.

When we both finally got home I called both of them to schedule a meeting for tomorrow. Because tomorrow, we're going exploring to the nether. The original home of Herobrine.

So, this should be interesting huh? They're finally going to the nether! THE HOME OF HEROBRINE! OH SNAP! so this should be exciting. So on to some more important matters: I will be intoducing Jeffery's dog and Sidney's cat soon! So keep a look out! I'm probably goona book it for today, this is the longest chapter I've ever written so far so be happy for me! Anyways once again I am going to ask you guys for suggestions for new characters! I really need new suggestions because I have a part planned where the crew are going to meet someone and I don't know anthing about him/her so please put this info if you want to suggest.
