Taking Risks

Zelda's perspective

It had been four days since her capture. She had been kept in a relatively nice place, for a dungeon. It had a small cot with a few blankets and a pillow. Food was served to her every four hours or so. She had never felt so depressed in my life. Some part of me wished Link would come and save me.

But no. I had overheard the guards talking about how I was bait to draw Link in. I don't know why they wanted link. For all my life the Yiga clan have always looked for me. 

I wanted to cry. It hurt. I was scared. Why did this have to happen to me? Fate is so cruel. I heard a bang on the cell window, and turned around. A hand was grasping the metal bars and hoisting someone up. 

I looked down and saw Link! "Link! What are you doing here! Someone will see you!" I whispered frantically at Link. He kicked the bars out of there hinges and climbed down into the cell. "Don't worry! No one saw me. They would have already called the guards first."   

Link said. "How did you open up the window?" I asked. "I just kicked it I guess." Link said casually. "But those were melted into the wall. How would it just open?" I asked fearfully. "That is a great question, princess Zelda." Said a gruff and deep tone.

It was Ganondorf. He was striding towards the cell, a glint of pleasure in his eyes. Link whirled around and unsheathed his sword. He stepped in front of me, and held a defensive position. "You took a big risk coming here, you know." Ganondorf said mokingley. "What do you want?" I asked Ganondorf yet again. "Girl, you are the scholar here. Think! You know the answer." Ganondorf said slyly.  

Come to think of it, now that he said that, I did remember something that had to do with Link. "Wasn't it something about how you have to get every single Link in the chain?" I said with a fearful tone.
