The Twilight Blade

A short reunion.

This is after the calamity, just as link and zelda finished off Dark beast ganon. This part of the story takes place in Botw.

After the Calamity

I stood there, watching the sun slowly descend on the remains of Hyrule. "This is amazing." Zelda said as she walked up behind me. It had been a few days since we had put an end to Ganon's reign. We were on are way to Zora's domain to fix Vah Ruta. 

My hand tingled as I realized that she was holding my hand. I scooted closer to her, not a care in the world. "I love twilight. It is the most beautiful time of the day." Zelda said as she rested her head on my shoulder.

We sat there for a long time, until I brought up that we should probably set up camp. "The Zora weren't kidding about the view. It's beautiful up in Ploymus Mountain." Zelda said as she was setting up cots. As I went around unpacking our bags, the strangest feeling came over me. I remembered something the Zora told me a long while ago. I just couldn't remember what they said. 

"I'm going to get some firewood." I murmured to Zelda and slowly descended the hill towards the nearest tree. I took out the master sword and started hacking at the branches. What was the thing the Zora told me? I dropped the firewood as I heard a roar. Of course! There was a Lynel on this mountain! I ran as fast as I could up to the place Zelda was.

She wasn't there. I looked around in panic and saw Zelda running from the Lynel. I rushed up toward her as she shouted for help. I pulled out the master sword, getting ready to fight.
