Chapter 23

I look under the bed, but it's hard to see. I reach a hand under to see if I can feel anything then suddenly I'm knocked backwards and my face hurts.

I quickly stand up and I'm now ready for a fight. I see a shadowy figure slide from under the bed. I take a swing at it, but they dodge it. The next thing I know I'm getting punched in the cheek. I stumble backwards and see who it is. It's the guy who was holding me last time Y/n went with them. I jump and roundhouse kick him in the face. He fell to the ground, and before he can get up I get on top of him and pin him down.

I was just about to a good point, but in a moment of instability he pins my leg under him and flips me over. I'm now under him wondering how I'm going to get out of this mess. "She's going back with her father," I hear him say. The voice seems familiar but I can't quite put my finger on it. "Over my dead body!" I grunt. Reaching my feet under his arm pit and throwing him off of me. I stand up as quick as I can stand on him. I look at him struggle, and I start to bend down to remove his mask then I feel a sharp pain on my shin and crash to the floor.

I crawl my way over to him, and I realize that he as a knife. I slide a way and stand up. Blood is gushing from my cut. I quickly grab his hand so that he can't use his knife. We fight for power and eventually I win, and pin his arms behind his back. Everytime he moves I put more pressure, and now he's nearly kneeling.

"Now it's time to see who you are," I say. "No Jin don't!" I hear him scream, but that just makes me want to see who it is more. Especially since he knows my name.  I slip his mask off and I'm shocked because it's...
