" chapter one"
Saturday 12:30 pm
"ARE YOU SERIOUS!?" y/n yelled into her phone. she was currently calling her best friend, Jean.
"YES I'M SERIOUS!" Jean laughed into his phone.
"I still can't believe the dude actually fell for that," y/n sighed as she recalled what her friend had told her.
"pleasee and the uwu voice didn't even sound good," he continued to laugh, "AND THE FACT THAT HE GAVE ME 500 BUCKS!!"
"NO HE DIDN'T"
"YES HE DID!"
"lucky you" y/n said as she laughed.
"whatever," jean rolled his eyes, "anyways, we should hang out soon, especially since we don't go to the same school anymore."
Both Jean and y/n had always gone to the same schools, from elementary to high school. They both first met back in kindergarten and had been best friends since. But then they graduated and went to different universities.
"don't remind me," y/n sadly sighed.
"bruh you should have come to mpqu instead of freakin scu," jean said.
"yesh you know I didn't get within the top 10 students that have the highest academics," y/n remarked, "heck I'm even surprised you got in!"
"well I AM smart," he said.
"yeah sure you are, horse face," y/n said sarcastically.
"hey! you know I hate it when I get called that!" Jean pouted.
"anyyyways, yeah we should hang out soon!" she smiled into the phone.
"how about today, actually!" jean suggested, "I'm not busy,"
"I'm not either," y/n said as she was checking her schedule.
"cool!" jean said excited, " let's meet around 2:30!"
They both agreed on time and place to meet up and started to get ready for later. y/n was excited to finally see her friend after a couple of months of not being able to hang with him in person.
